Doing some stuff:

Made a cheap "Ibex Ring" Sight, set for SMG/Pistol (100m zero) as well as a "Rifle" version set for 300m:

As well as a Non-ARD version of the Aimpoints:

As well as more MHS tweaking, though for now I think I got it set where it works. I've also shortened the barrel a bit (as well as the 45CL to match the appearance):

Love the Taliban guys!  I'm not great at learning how to arm them (I play mainly SP). Would love a version with guys armed too!

I can't figure out how to use the virtual armory and then cut and paste a loadout to a unit placed in the editor.

Okay set up the loadout in Armory.  Click on Export, and the appropriate stuff will be on the Clipboard.  Get out of the Armory and go into the Editor, and then place a Taliban unit on the map, and then in the Initialization box paste the exported list and check in-game "Preview"

Much thanks! Will look to do this now.  Really appreciate your Taliban guys!

Once in the virtual Armory. How do I call up the Taliban fighter? When I hit import nothing really happens.

You can't "call" him up you have to use the Editor. They're setup so mission makers can use old school work or Arsenal setups to arm them, and clothe them, it doesn't work in the Armory like you think.

Some optics options for the MHS:

And the Ring Sight has a small zoom function, comparable to the Mk17 Holosight:

And pulled the eyepoint back a bit for the ACOGs:

Composite video showing the Ibex Ring Sight in-game. Still need to fix the Shadow LOD but it works of course:

wow, that looks amazing (the recoil, along with that beastly rifle sound lol), I never asked, but do you use your own settings/tweaks for recoil on your weapons? apologies if someone asked you this already but I really like it...

I forgot the guy's name but he showed me his for an AK5 (Swedish assault rifle) and I tweaked the settings after that when the new recoil values came out earlier this year.

yeh I really noticed them in the weapons you fixed for me the other day, I was surprised how well the recoil was, adds well to the immersion...*sigh one day I'll get to play Arma lol.

No problem man, I play the game often on though, sometimes I actually go on a server, though I get a lot of "message not recieved" so not sure if it's my unstable internets or server code is all fucked up.  But in any case I play a lot of missions by myself just to keep myself somewhat sharp.

Finally got the Shadow LOD fixed for the Ring Sights:

wip1249.jpg

Also added a 500m dot for the Ibex Launcher Sight, which really is calibrated for the RPG but should be good for other launchers (accuracy may vary), so going from top to bottom the top dot is 100m, middle 300m or so, as well as the bottom 500m or so. I sometimes use it as an ad hoc reflex sight (but I carry other types instead) as it's good for 100m or so shooting (never tried it at distance shooting though):

Also found some A2 glasses, and decided to port them, given my glasses in Afghanistan were the best:

Thanks for the great addons. Just couple of issues with your recent Taliban Fighters RC. As u can see on the pictures below there's weird hat misalignment affecting some of the models:

Intentional, it's designed for mission modding and those who don't like my weapons, so you'll have to arm them yourself given that people have their preferences.
