Well so far I've gotten most things settled with the new setup, things still look good, getting an odd "RSCIngameUI" error, which I'm not sure where that comes from, and still no see Hellfires, and checking stuff, nothing changed. I may look at the Plane Samples and see if that'll bring a solution to the issue.

 

Also got a bug for one of the uniforms for the Tali's, so I think I quashed that and maybe tomorrow, or later I'll get it updated and uploaded.

Taliban Fighters RC3
- Fixed a distance LOD issue with the units (thanks to phronk)
- Fixed a faction error, the Taliban Technical referenced the PIF, even though the units were not part of the pack.

No, but it can be easily done now that I have some "breathing room" with the helos.

But don't worry, with the exception of Afghan Clothes 4 and 5 the headgear is removed. The headpieces on those aren't separated and don't feel like re-inventing the wheel.

And by some quirk of fate:

Given that all of the current models now work more or less (still have to see if my testers can find any more issues but so far their feedback has been good) I can slowly move forward a bit and go for adding some Pip stuff (pilot can see the FLIR, etc), as well  as a couple Armed Knight Hawks.  Again guys you will never see a US version of the Hind. Every time its brought up the answer will always be NO. Reason is that the real world doesn't use them that way, and so therefore I will more or less follow Real World employment, not how you think it should be employed.  And also remember I can't contact certain organizations about some things either.

You ironed out those UH-60s nicely, next patch will be awesome for the choppers. 

Oh and i came across this

Only problem with that is that I can't put the US Flag on properly as well as "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and so on. Not entirely impossible but I have no plans on variants yet as I'm a little more focused on getting the current set finished.

Again most of this stuff is ported so what you see, is what you get given that they are ports. This along with Arma Logic I had to create more units to accommodate for these uniforms (apparently a unit has to wear it so the game makes it a uniform).

Speaking of that.... did some testing today at least in-game and managed to get the irons to disappear when an optic is mounted:

And afterwards I had to adjust the slide and frame a bit, as the weapon was clipping too much out of the holster even for my tastes, and just as "compact" as the other two 45CLs:

There's some Salient International influence in the frame towards the front, and tweaked the geometries to make the barrel in the front look as it should, rather than the frame in the barrel, as it is now.

Eric, my only stylistic complaint for your helicopters is the green rocket pods. The aircraft are really great, but those pods really stick out to me. If you had rocket pods that matched it would be great. I still enjoy using your work, but thought I'd chime in with my opinion.

Some weeks ago I was going to tweak the textures, but got distracted/sidelined. I'll see what I can do, but most of the work is BIS anyway, but easily fixed/adjusted.

Or you could go away from using BIS stuff and model your own pods? Not to give you more work, but from your work on the firearms I figure you're more than capable. Food for thought.

True, but right now I've got more than just Arma 3 work on the plate, so I can probably jack some A2 pods, but it's not going to be a priority, especially if I'm using DAGRs instead of Hydra-70s.  I'll cross that bridge when I come to it, but maybe next week as the focus is getting the current versions "back" again with the working FLIR and tweaked stuff. I still have to add Pip stuff and so on, so when some other work clears up, I can attack it with a fresh mind.

Current sitrep... so far the new version of the helos has some issues, the FM (Flight Model) isn't as great so back to the drawing board, and locking up targets is not working so gotta see what's up, maybe tomorrow but we'll see.

Okay right now it's really looking like later on this week for the helos, I have another project hitting me tomorrow (Thursday) so it may be out either by Sunday as now I'm finding my proxy trick to get the Hellfires to show, they won't disappear wen I fire them, so.... I'm gonna hold off until I fix that issue as well.

That glock is coming together nicely. Might be a cool to have the option to be full auto or even 3 round burst and a larger clip. Either way it looks like it will be replacing the glock cl as my goto sidearm.

Given that BIS doesn't have Magazine proxies yet I have no plans for larger capacity magazines, the MHS functions the same as the 45CL. When they finally do so though, I will as it's about making sure people don;t get kicked off servers for supposedly hacking, etc.

No worries man. i understand. i was hoping to have a full auto/burst pistol for my sniper load out, however not that big of a deal. Either way i'll still be rock it. :) it really reminds me of the KARD from ghost recon future solider. Or is this something i could change with a config file. You know so i could use full auto when not on a public server, like when i'm playing solo or lan games?
