My guess is that the relative shorter height is causing the problem... Then again this is my first venture into character modelling so maybe move the proxies down? If not it may be Game Engine related. Zeealex's females are the same relative height to male models, so probably why hers works okay versus A2 models, which are shorter. To be honest I haven't even started on females yet myself so your guess is as good as mine.

EricJ, thank you for an update of takistan units. Found a small visual glitch. If you take weapon in hands (not lowered), then your elbows are clipping in uniform.

The units will be mirrored in the gun pack, with weapons. I won't make optional configs for anything anymore.

 

As for the sound issue and graphic issues, I'm unable to reproduce your errors so I don't see how things are being affected. I run both RHS:AFRF, DragonFyre (SP) and I don't notice any sound difference, with all  enabled on any server, so I'm not sure what the cause is.

RC66
- Tweaked AI PKM values to better utilize that weapons capabilities.
- Added a PIF Milita RPG unit, carries a Rook-40 and an RPG-7
- Ported an A2 RPG backpack, now standard on all RPG euipped units regardless of faction.
- Added faction specific flags.
- Added six Taliban units, armed with the weapons pack weapons, has a Taliban Leader, Taliban PKM, Taliban RPG, and three generic fighters.
- Added six Afghan Civilian units, specifically set for the "Civilian" faction, and has six various units for use.
- Added ported (from the Arma 2 Sample Models) Afghan style clothing based on the Takistan units from that game.
- Added a ported "Surplus Russian Vest" taken from the A2 Takistan soldier units, thanks to Zeealex for some help with that.

Well really it's BIS's stuff only ported. I may do some Taliban "Females" (yes, they dress up in women's clothing in order to sneak around easier). but that's for the near future as it's Sunday, tomorrow will start redoing the helos.

Hey EricJ, when I'm using the lovely MH-60, the helicopter's crew is the jet pilot model without a flight helmet but with a parachute. Is this a bug?

Some kinda bug as I see helo pilots when I use something like Zeus or use the Editor, so not sure how that's happening as the classname for the helo pilots is correct for all the aircraft.

I've been using the editor as well. Maybe its a compatibility issue?

 

But would you maybe consider updating the pack with custom pilots? That would eliminate the issue and make it more realistic, if the pilots were wearing multicam/ACU.

Well, just checked the last one and yep, had the same issue, so something's jamming it up but good....

 

No plans for custom units for the forseeable future, I got other things to work on at the moment.

I can play with Vanilla gear fine and be effective, sounds suck though.

 

I think that may be the issue, as if you have an older version of DragonFyre then.... you may need to update and see, as I have (so far) the Latest release.  Sound-wise it doesn't work, but since I play LAN sometimes I have no issues, but most of the default sounds are heard more than the JSRS sounds, which blows monkey nuts.

The M240B on the MHS Transport is inverted, pushing the mouse left means the gun turns right and you can no longer Spawn in as gunner in the DAP choppers
