Nicholas 5 Posted December 11, 2013 How has this flown under the radar for so long!? I can't wait!! I actually enjoyed Iron Front, can't wait to have it in ArmA 3!
Michele 3 Posted December 12, 2013 Can't wait to see it...but i don't understand if the original Iron front is required to play, or is just a free mod for A3?
fabio_chavez 103 Posted December 13, 2013 (edited) technically its not unlikely to see Kampfschwimmers at one point in the future i guess... http://www.desktopas.com/files/2013/09/Nazi-Kampfschwimmer-Frogman-Panerai-800x1441.jpg (183 kB) or frogmen... bonchie 39 Posted December 14, 2013 Can't wait to see it...but i don't understand if the original Iron front is required to play, or is just a free mod for A3? It's going to require IF as a lot of the stuff comes from IF.
fabio_chavez 103 Posted December 17, 2013 (edited) overwhelmingly versatile this is, Iron Front appearing in a new light... :} Edited December 17, 2013 by Fabio_Chavez
lappihuan 178 Posted December 18, 2013 Am I crazy or are those groundtextures (Surface and Midrange) better then A3 ones? (from the last page)
lennard 447 Posted December 18, 2013 Am I crazy or are those groundtextures (Surface and Midrange) better then A3 ones?(from the last page) Yes and it's probably not the only thing that's better.

jinzor 31 Posted December 21, 2013 (edited) There are two things I hope for this mod: 1. The two campaigns are also re-made (minus all of the major, mission-breaking bugs, of course. Maybe a few changes as well (e.g. instead of story-cutscenes being rendered in game, they are edited into a video and played when appropriate instead)). 2. IF44 is required to play the mod in A3. Gunter Severloh 4052 Posted December 21, 2013 2. IF44 is required to play the mod in A3. 1st, there is no IF mod for Arma3. 2nd, IF is required, but for the rest of the details you will have to wait til its released.
jinzor 31 Posted December 21, 2013 1st, there is no IF mod for Arma3. Sorry for assuming that it was just a mod for A3, but due to the scarcity of any solid information relating to the project and the way the video portrayed it, it seemed that way. 2nd, IF is required, but for the rest of the details you will have to wait til its released. Good, I won't be holding my breath.
Joe98 91 Posted December 21, 2013 The town is from Arma3, the soldier from Arma2 and the Tiger tank from Iron Front. Wow! ---------- Post added at 09:55 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:53 AM ---------- 1st, there is no IF mod for Arma3. The words on the picture say: "Iron Front Liberation '44 in Arma3. Soon". That means it is a mod for Arma 3 - but it could be a typing error.
Gunter Severloh 4052 Posted December 22, 2013 Yes and thats what it is but a little more clarification, it is a mod but it isn't, so basically its not Iron front rebuilt for example like I44 3.0 for Arma3 from the ground up, rather its another process that enables Iron front to run as a mod for A3. [aps]gnat 28 Posted December 22, 2013 ...... What? lol
dunedain 48 Posted December 22, 2013 (edited) To make things clear, I understand modders won't be authorized to upgrade and distribute Iron Front's assets even if it still requires IF installed. This is going to be the same as AIA, which happens "solely on the config level", as there was no license to edit and distribute Armed Assault and Arma2 assets on Arma3 until recently. Gunter Severloh 4052 Posted December 22, 2013 ...... What? lol Whats not to understand? As said its not a mod built.....for example like Invasion 1944 mod for Arma3 where new units, weapons, tanks, planes, and terrain are being created from scratch rather its another process that enables Iron front to run as a mod for Arma3. To make things clear, I understand modders won't be authorized to upgrade and distribute Iron Front's assets even if it still requires IF installed. Iron front as everyone knows or at least should know by now if you all followed it is not moddable, nor can the original files be changed/altered and redistributed, so the original assets are not being touched or changed and or redistributed. fabio_chavez 103 Posted December 26, 2013 hmm i am linking directly to my steam gallery which has no resize function by itself, i gotta use imgur alternatively though i thought when pics exceed 100kb, they will be turned into a link automaticly?
Gunter Severloh 4052 Posted December 26, 2013 If you right click the image itself they are like 442kb, so no, you have to relink them.
