It is dupicate radio ID problem. Do not store radios into VAS loadouts.
Daantjeeuh 10 Posted October 6, 2014 I was encountering an issue with some radio's the other night (playing as BLUFOR). We have always used a radio combo of a 152 for teamleaders and the 7800 for other infantrymen and that worked just fine. However, we wanted to change the radio's for once (because you have so many nice ^^) and we went with a 148 for teamleaders and the 154 for infantrymen. None of the radio's synced up with frequency, and when my buddy was using the 148 on the same frequency I was we couldn't hear each other. Do you have any clue what might have caused this and/or how to fix it? Thanks! edit: long range backpack/vehicle radio was working just fine, only short range radios were affected
Madbrood 12 Posted October 6, 2014 To add to this^ , the 148's were working fine until Daantjeeuh had to relog - then we couldn't hear one another when we were on the same channel/freq.

Try tf_west_radio_code = ""; tf_guer_radio_code = tf_west_radio_code; tf_civ_radio_code = tf_west_radio_code
Madbrood 12 Posted October 6, 2014 Why, then, could the two 148's not talk to each other once Daantjeeuh relogged?
A.Cyprus 16 Posted October 6, 2014 Had he saved a radio in his load out? Our unit experienced similar. If he dropped that radio and took another (sometimes given by another player) it would work again.
Daantjeeuh 10 Posted October 6, 2014 It wasn't saved in my load out :) It was a fresh radio picked up from an ammobox.
A.Cyprus 16 Posted October 6, 2014 I never got to the bottom of it tbh, and I'm no longer with that unit. We were running VTS shop at the time.
nkey 35 Posted October 6, 2014 Why, then, could the two 148's not talk to each other once Daantjeeuh relogged? Maybe distance\landscape or mistaken different frequencies?
Madbrood 12 Posted October 6, 2014 We were right next to each other, frequencies were checked several times :) I think we have it sorted now though, thanks!

siryouhavefailedhard 10 Posted October 8, 2014 (edited) I have the same problem as "forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?169029-Task-Force-Arrowhead-Radio&p=2766191&viewfull=1#post2766191" (Unable to enter any vehicles due to Task Force Radio malfunction ) What I noticed additional to the previously mentioned: When I join a Server and go in-game, nobody is able to join after. Only when I'm alone in-game, I'm able to login as admin (#login password) I'am unable to take Backpacks from crate to slot. (I have to lay it on the ground first) What I've tried so far: Removing all AddOns (except tfr) Reinstalling Arma3 Reinstalling TFR & TS³ Plugins Testing TS³ v. 3.0.13 & 3.0.15 & 3.0.16 Different server and missions Remove all profiles (removing the "arma 3" and "arma 3 other profiles" folder) and creating a new Profile AddOns: CBA 1.0.5 (I've tested newer Versions already but only client side) TFR 0.9.2 Due to removing the game I've lost the .rpt files will post one later (if necessary) Edited October 8, 2014 by SirYouHaveFailedHard

nkey 35 Posted October 8, 2014 Before reinstalling the game: yes several timesAfter: not yet (I'm right now) EDIT done, nothing found. EDIT: I have not kept a rpt file cus there was nothing about tfr inside. Hm.... Is is possible to wait a week (or so) before new TFAR update? Are you able to enter vehicle in SP? And is it works without TFAR?
siryouhavefailedhard 10 Posted October 8, 2014 Entering vehicles in SP / Editor / Own Server (created in server Browser) (with TFAR) is possible. Without TFAR there are no errors (tested several vanilla server) Yes a wait is luckily possible, I'm just puzzled by this bug, it's driving me to despair. (It was quite time consuming finding all these symptoms)
nkey 35 Posted October 9, 2014 I copied this to my init.sqf and the LR frequencies works but SW is still random. I know, half year passed, but here is fix for you: #include "\task_force_radio\functions\common.sqf"; if ((isServer) or (isDedicated)) then { tf_no_auto_long_range_radio = true; publicVariable "tf_no_auto_long_range_radio"; tf_same_sw_frequencies_for_side = true; publicVariable "tf_same_sw_frequencies_for_side"; tf_same_lr_frequencies_for_side = true; publicVariable "tf_same_lr_frequencies_for_side"; _settingsSwWest = false call TFAR_fnc_generateSwSettings; _settingsSwWest set [2, ["311","312","313","314","315","316","317","318"]]; tf_freq_west = _settingsSwWest; _settingsLrWest = false call TFAR_fnc_generateLrSettings; _settingsLrWest set [2, ["30","41","42","43","44","45","46","47","48"]]; tf_freq_west_lr = _settingsLrWest; };
