LordJarhead 1725 Posted October 16, 2013 Now i figured what you mean. my badI download your JSRS addons at your site and shoot the AT to about 100m I can hear nice fancy shot sound but there was no explosion sound I test to my friend (who install exactly same as me) he also said can hear shot sound but no explosion sound I even shot to him nearly 2m but he got hurt with out sound. same as happned in Pawnee I download all your JSRS 0.001 to 0.75 Ok, now thats something different. You playing on 5.1 or Stereo Headphones? Not that that would change the fact that this problem shouldn't be there. As far as I can tell now everything with our latest internal build is working fine. So it wont take long (maybe a couple of weeks) for a full release of JSRS2.0 ;) By now, you can fix that by deleting the JSRS Explosions_c.pbo in your addons folder. Thanks, LJ

Can't wait to have the game totally transformed. JSRS ruined vanilla arma 2 for me because once I played with it, I couldn't stand to play without. Keep up the good work! kgino1045 12 Posted October 17, 2013 (edited) I assume (Not a technically) that it's happened because crash with TMR (his disposable rockets) And I'm using normal 10$ earphone and my friend using 7.1 300$ head set ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Is it normal that i heard in JSRS AT gun Shot sound and Vanila AT gun shot sound in almost simultaneously It's same befor and after remove jsrs2_explosions_c But figures that can't heard any explosion sound by removing jsrs2_explosions_c Edited October 17, 2013 by kgino1045

What about without TMR or any other mods? You should've said this first.
Tyl3r99 41 Posted October 17, 2013 whats your samples number on in the options? under audio there are sliders and an option to change how many samples of noise are produced (I think!)
kgino1045 12 Posted October 17, 2013 125 and still Can't hear any explosion (except gernade and other shootong explosion, Only rockets are problem) play with full JSRS along
St. Jimmy 272 Posted October 17, 2013 (edited) 125and still Can't hear any explosion (except gernade and other shootong explosion, Only rockets are problem) play with full JSRS along Then there must be something wrong with your jsrs2_explosion and jsrs2_explosions_c. I can get your result if I download in wrong order aka. first install 0.01 and then 0.002 so try to install JSRS again and be careful. /What's the last date modified on your jsrs2_explosion and jsrs2_explosions_c? They should be 22.8.2013. Edited October 17, 2013 by St. Jimmy

spanishsurfer 58 Posted October 17, 2013 Jarhead, when can we expect server keys for your sound mod? Many of us play exclusively multiplayer and without that server key I rarely get to use your great mod.

LordJarhead 1725 Posted October 21, 2013 Yeap!It was my poor, pathetic mathematical skill and horrible order to install It's works now Thanks :) No problem but I'm glad you could figure it out. The final version we are running testing eise right now is very stable and no rpt's whatssoever. We are good to go. Small tweaks and some weapons and vehicles and it'll be released guys. Obviously I'llopen a new thread or move this one ocer to complete section ones we are releasing ;) LJ

It is like christmas!!! I did not even installed the current alpha package. I was waiting for the final one to have the full blown effect :) I think I will sit on that thread. I guess you should open a brand new thread in the addon complete section, so people will not get confused with old issues and installation directions. zach72 1 Posted October 21, 2013 Glad to hear progress is good, LJ. Can't wait for a completed, signed version :-) did you get round to changing the vehicle horns?!? oh, and I see there is a JSRS/TMR mod. Is this by you, and if so will it be bundled in JSRS2 or will it stay an additional mod?
LordJarhead 1725 Posted October 21, 2013 (edited) I see there is a JSRS/TMR mod. Is this by you, and if so will it be bundled in JSRS2 or will it stay an additional mod? There is? That JSRS Support Addon? Well since he's not modifying JSRS itself but supporting it, there shouldn't be any problems. I might get in contact with TMR and work something out since the newest JSRS version in like 500% different to the Alpha. CaptainAzimuth 714 Posted October 21, 2013 Here are my thoughts regarding Flares/Countermeasures for aircraft. If you listen when they dump flares, you can hear a low puff, and than hissing. Would be a nice feature instead of having flares sound like an under slug grenade launcher.

I'm not sure if its working but I'm willing to atleast try it ;) The inside raining sounds should be easy but I'm not sure. We'll check on that. LJ
