Feedback Alert!!!

Since you have the British C8 Carbine, would it be possible in the future to add the Canadian C7,C8,C9,C6 GPMP and maybe the C1A1 (FN FAL) and the C1 SMG... Just suggestions. Maybe an elcan optic that's green to match.. :). I know I am asking alot but.. the other Canadian mod is not updating its files for 1.2.4 so they have no sounds.

Maybe a little less than that, we already have a GPMG and Minimi, we might just ask for a C7, L1A1 SLR and Elcan or C1 SMG :)

In some tests we ran into an additional problem with some weapons. As I already told the zeroing for the SVD using the standard PSO is off.

It seems that all weapons with 203 using the red dot optics are off. We found you'd have to aim with the upper edge of the optics instead of the dot to get your grenades on target.

Noticed that the 417CQB does not have a suppressor. In the older version it had one. Any plans to add one? The 417CQB with GL is/was my favorite rifle in all of Arma. Sure would be nice if to have that suppressor back.

Thank you for all your work on this mod pack. These weapons are crucial to our unit and countless others. Thanks again for this awesome update Massi!

hi,

417 CQB still have suppressors, they are : "muzzle_mas_snds_M", "muzzle_mas_snds_Mc" plus the standard BI one.

I just hided the classes in config to avoid having 10 times the same weapon just with different accessories, but all my units have the right suppressor for their weapons in inventory, if they have not a suppressed weapon already, or you can still add them with classnames (you'll find in addon folder) since they're still in, just hided ;)

Massi,

Appreciate your hard work and am thoroughly enjoying the mod.

A small visual error I have noticed with the addition of the new SCAR models; when the front hand is gripping the weapon his fingers will clip through whatever rail-accessory is attached (flashlight/IR.) Is it possible to adjust this or look at returning the vertical hand-grip that was present on the SCAR's in Arma 2?

hi,

unfortunately this is an animation issue, it is the same with and without side accessories so they're clipping, sorry ;)

i think your packing might be iffy as depbo unpacks with out half the items that pbo manager unpacks

Something's definitely wrong on your side : I do have the UI folder in the PBO file.

Try to check if it's there without unpacking (just open it with PBO manager).

same from me...every time I upload an addon I download it from the website and test it accurately both SP and MP then I check RPT...so there is something wrong on the file you have installed, the only solution I can suggest is to download it again (also from a different source) and reinstall, sorry

DePBO fails to extract the pbo's properly for some reason, you endup missing half of the stuff in the pbo's. When extracting with something like pbo manager it works fine.

That was armatecs issue with not seeing UI and the rest of the folders.

When attempting to extract with mikero's ExtractPbo it throws this

Derap:Derap: Missing name for class or array
Rap or Derap error

ok i fixed it i did not update asdg_jointrails_mas_weapons.pbo most of the errors are gone now but i still get and asked apache to look and he also could not find the file

Warning Message: Picture \mas_us_rifle\ui\gear_svd_x_ca.paa not found

and should be

\mas_ru_rifle\ui

I had numerous issues with those PBO softwares - including the official tools; to me the most reliable one is PBO manager.

The only thing it doesn't do is binarizing, other than that I never had any trouble with it.

Line 1370: picture = "\mas_us_rifle\ui\gear_svd_x_ca.paa";

Line 1517: picture = "\mas_us_rifle\ui\gear_svd_x_ca.paa";

ok i think its the fhq addon thats the issue

---------- Post added at 14:39 ---------- Previous post was at 14:34 ----------

looks like i did not read the readme

Please remember to REMOVE the old "mas_us_rifle_fhq_c.pbo" since it will brake the new version of the addon.

Thanks for the great weapons pack, this has allowed me to create much better custom units in the arsenal. Anyway the L119A1 is currently being upgraded by Colt Canada to the L119A2 standard. You'll find it at this link under the L119A2 tab.
