AlexVestin 24 Posted August 10, 2013 Just got to try it out, can't seem to add any attachments to the weapons, not even the standard BIS accessories. The armaholic link still has the small error. I also have a nice surprise for headgear, with the help of fellow community members, wich will get much better. H0sTiLe 10 Posted August 11, 2013 looks awesome you should make a "complete" conversion for arma 3 in an afghanistan setting and then add some taliban. plus all the other things such as blackhawks, a-10's etc. (maybe also other nato forces) --------- just another thing - how are you guys normally playing with mods like these ? - do you just find a random mission somewhere to play (on armaholic) or do you use it online somewhere ? AlexVestin 24 Posted August 11, 2013 Thank you :) And that's were AllInArma comes in. As of now all of that is possible. Yet, new content is always better since it'll be 100% supported instead. All that is missing are some resistance that would fit in with the setting instead of the iranians. Hopefully there'll be more normal looking civilians in A3 that could do the job with some gear added. just another thing - how are you guys normally playing with mods like these ? - do you just find a random mission somewhere to play (on armaholic) or do you use it online somewhere ? I'd guess closed gaming groups playing co-op missions together would be the most common. I haven't looked into addon keys so they work on a server or how that even works. AlexVestin 24 Posted August 12, 2013 (edited) I can believe many of you downloading this are far from really enjoying the current rifle hand-animations. That'll change soon, though! I'm fixing the bad animations for the M4, M16A4 and Mk12 wich are suffering the most from it. Not that I don't like your weapons, but he is doing some really high quality M16 Variants, and I am sure you can work with him on figuring something out? I'd guess he will release his weapons as a standalone pack, though :) When the next update comes (1.5) I'll include an M-ATV with the correct paintjob. No armed version yet, because I say so. AlexVestin 24 Posted August 14, 2013 I'm asuming you mean the vest I added for the crew, wich is a ArmA1 vest. As of now, it has no shadow LOD, and I think the rvmats are wrong, because its shadows are very dark. Textures are just made "okay to look at" at the time. I've already made it higer-res, but haven't really changed the texture. If you're actually talking about a ArmA2 vest, it'll be more difficult. instagoat 133 Posted August 14, 2013 Technically they should use the OITV. The current vest looks like a chinese model, as used by the Pakistani army, for example. Which makes sense for the AAF (talking about their Vest used in this mod) The Arma 1 vest was basically an Interceptor OTV, which was used proir to the introduction of the OITV. I believe there are four or five different versions of the Interceptor too. Wasn't there someone on Armaholic who was working on an OITV vest? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
