thanks man, there is so much in the works. granted they are not perfect models but i will work towards getting them there. been dedicating a lot of time for you guys XD

I can't wait to see the rest of the stuff being worked on!

I wanted to do this back when i got arma 2 but didn't knew how to do lol, the day today i still dont know how to do haha :)

this was requested in my wip thread, i enjoy following up with peoples requests

satellite communications radio antenna (aka satcom). going to try and make this a item object that can be carried, dropped and deployed. wish it would work with acre, maybe way down the road.

I think.....and I'm not saying he will, but it's worth a shot to talk to Glowbal about implementing this into ACRE. He's got a lot on his plate right now...but he's an awesome scripter. He has a small amount of experience with ACRE scripting to incorporate it into the CMS. Always worth a try so that Porter can get his SATCOM working, lol :)

Hey man. I got a problem. Whenever i use the Spawn script thing, all that shows up is the characteristic Arma 2 Ammo pouches on the ground. They contain all the items that your mod has in it, though it just shows the Ammo pouch on the ground. Also, i can only see one of the things at a time, and i have to pick that one thing up before it shows another one.

Please help?

Are you talking about my items pack? If so then its designed to drop a pouch since the item itself is not modelled 3d. Why it only puts 1 at a time, no clue man.

Ohkay. Well, then theres just the one item at a time...

it's like whenever i open one of them, there's only one item in there, though if i take that item, and open up the pouch again, there's a new item instead..

schaefer thank you very much, and that is actually a good idea and very easy at that. will put some empty stacked 5.56 mags in :)

EDIT:little update, the pack now contains 30 objects and is growing really quickly. the best part is that the next version will have functionality for some objects. things are coming together :)

Suggestion. One mag with a round visible in it too?

Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter had nice details like these.

If you threw the mag on the ground with rounds still in it, they were visible in the not-empty mag lying on the ground.

ill look into it. shouldnt be that difficult to add a round there, even if i just make a texture. anyways, was playing around and designed a toc. again, imagine coming here to select a sidemission, switch team/groups, get weather information, watch another team on patrol, change in game settings like viewdistanc etc, controlling uav's supporting a ground element, communicating with forward elements, doing paperwork lol, or filing patrol logs (mso?). it would be o much more immersive coming into a room thats alive (the screens will show player cams or whatever you set it to). i personally think it would be cool and i hope many people adapt it once the pack improves :)

You better release that as a mission type setup, will save heaps of time screwing around trying to get objects on objects... you've got yourself a simple masterpiece here mate, nice work. :cool:
