But we have also messages about some FHQ optics... !! :( @GVSE Thought the problem was clear... sorry for my mention !! My hole clan have the same issues, if they start the game with the 2.3.1 version. We have several messages about missing entrys and we are NOT using FHQ... we want the naked gun !! :) Warning Message: No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgWeapons.R3F_AIMPOINT'. This and many more messages, see the snipet of RPT, are following... this issues are full reproducable by all of my teammates at every time the game or dedicated is started, so you must repro this by yourself !! gvse 10 Posted October 24, 2013 1. The dms scope error messages are unavoidable until BIS pushes the scope from the dev branch to the main branch. Either that or you switch to the dev branch. 2. Most other error messages should be eliminated by moving c1987_mp7_c_fhq_r3f_rds_acc.pbo or any other OPTIONAL pbos (the list of these is in the first post here) away from the addons folder. Edit : @ gvse : will delete these files, but it is not possible to checkin optional pbos another way ?? thought, most peoples aren't using FHQ... let the people who using FHQ pull in the wanted PBOs !! :) If i dont said before, i like this gun and be very glad about this port !! I think it's a bit unreasonable to ask me to fix problems caused by changes to other addons. Sorry to bother you, GVsE, but the incompactibility only happens due to your config, Kiory updated his kio_susat (and now it is bundled inside kio_L85a2.pbo) but your config still relates to the old optic, I just thought you would update your config, just like you did when IanSky updated his pack... but no need to hassle, next thursday BIS is going to change it all, and in the meantime I´ve reverted to old L85A2 so everything works, but more people may complain of this, I was just giving a headstart... The new config system has been available in Dev branch for some time but yet nobody started using it, not even mods that require Dev branch like this one. NordKindchen 12 Posted December 7, 2013 Very nice high quality weapon model!=) However I have one issue with this weapon: When you aim down sights (which you will do 80 % of the time) The textures around the scope are kind of low res Because this is the area you will allways have your eyes on it is worth considering an update here. The MP7 is great as it is, null problem if the patch is just to fix BIS messing with sounds... and Spartan´s ballistics rock, please, consider adding his values (with the help of Robalo, of course) GvsE!!!! cheers! Spartan0536 189 Posted June 26, 2014 Just a heads up, if GvsE goes with my ballistics code, it is 99% accurate to the RUAG ammotec rounds, this means that the MAXIMUM effective range will be 150 meters, anything past that and you are lucky to get a kill, the bullets have a very high drag function! gvse 10 Posted July 10, 2014 Guys, thanks to Robalo, we have a new config that does two things: 1. makes the sounds compatible with the dev branch and the upcoming stable patch. 2. makes the mod compatible with asdg joint rails how to install: delete your old configs but keep the weapon pbo ("c1987_mp7.pbo")! place the unrared c1987_mp7_c.pbo in the addons folder.
