Simple question.

My suggestion:

Most of you probably don't know yet....But Iran actually announced a single-seat aircraft named Qaher-313 (Conqueror) this year.

Its supposed to be a Stealth Fighter, and i think it would fit the role for the OPFOR.

Most people consider it a joke.BUT,we are talking about Arma-verse!;)

the future iranian military is very diversified. they have elite nanosoldiers, but also deploy female suicide bombers, the widows of those lost in the war. they have abandoned air warfare all together and instead utilize an advanced fleet of naval and anti air assets, along with african mercenaries.

They already have the L-159, but if we're throwing ideas together...

An Iranian make of the SEQUEL to the PAK FA.

The L159 is a truck compared to the F35 !!!

LOL!

Thats the plane that is supposed to fight the F-35?

The 313,even being a joke now,has some big potential for the future.

I think its a good idea....And its iranian.

We may see a big surprise...?

van ‘t Land: … let’s just say we have some major vehicles hidden under the cover of darkness still, some re-imagined old favorites and classics. We’re not trying to invent weapons and vehicles from scratch, but are always basing things off current prototypes, near-future concepts and feasible blends between them.

I don't care as long the A-10 is in-game.

I imagine more likely a "dedicated ground attack aircraft" successor (unlike the IRL attempts to make the F-35B the successor to the A-10C) although an upgraded A-10 isn't impossible.

While we're talking about made up planes, I think BI could probably make one up that is more convincing than that piece of garbage.

The designer of the F-16 has said it is "shocking how unmaneuverable the F35 is".

I thought it was considered a joke because it was not only fake but aerodynamically incapable of sustained flight.

Why wouldn't the Iranians just have something from Mikoyan, like the rumored LMFS? That or something Chinese.

Isn't this because the F-35 family wasn't designed to be aerodynamically unstable like the F-16 family?

No. It's because its wings are small and it's heavy, according to that aeronautical engineer.

and then there's the carrier variant that the pilots hate because its got the shortest distance between tailhook and the rear wheels. and that distance directly corrosponds to screwed up landing where it either overshoots, or rips the rear wheels off

J-20

J-20+Mighty+Dragon++Chengdu+J-20+fifth+generation+stealth,+twin-engine+fighter+aircraft+prototype+People

and J-31 which IMO is closer to the F-35, being designed for carrier ops

I was talking about ArmA 2 experience actually ,still i believe that the L159 is not comparable to the f35 in real life :D ...i would go for a SU37 definately :D

They based their analisys in that piece of plastic they showed in the event.Things may change,we are talking about an alternative universe. That was just a prototype, for the looks of it.
