Just discovered that the mission filter in servers browser supports negation, like "!wasteland", I wonder if I can add multiple selection, like "not wasteland and not dayz" or whatever. Is it possible?

Not yet but it is on the backlog

For ow you can use the different fields like server-, mission- & modname to filter out these 2. DayZ is recognized as mod and mission and most if not all wasteland servers have this in their name.

Aha, thanks. Anyway, I found one server that is present in Arma servers browser but not in withSix browser (filter for "alex"). How is it possible, I removed all filters...

Could be when only running since a short time, or if our servers have issues reaching the server etc. Could you please share the ip+port, or at least more than just 'alex' :) thanks

It was "alex on alex PC", has been online whole day long, not now. Probablly it will be tomorrow too. I noticed it as it had the lowest ping from my location.

Sounds like not a dedicated server, only deddies are currently listed.

Is their a way to get all of your local mods to show up in the 'Local' section? I only see one mod, while I have 3-4 that do not show.

Edit: It seems if the mods are included in Six, they don't show up in the local section.

Rename the mods, so that six can tell the difference. I had the same issue when CWR² wasn't up to date on Six yet. So I just put @CWR2_Local instead of @CWR2 and it worked fine.

sorry if i have posted this in the from thread.

I was wondering for alittle bit of help with six updated. I have made a repo with 3 mods i want to people to download.

I have added my server into the repo manager and set it up. My question is how would i add mods to the required server mods list which isnt a mod on six updater ie acre, JayArmA3Lib, UOCBA_A3

I'm sure the answer is staring me in the face in the documentation, but I'm just missing it...

If I'm trying to run mods in PwS that are NOT automatically downloaded through the program, is there a way to have them load through the browser instead of manually having to put "@mod" additions in the start up parameters (in Settings)?

Just install them as usual. put @mod/addons in your arma folder, and it shows up under local in Play With Six. Then add them to the preset of your choice.

Except that it doesn't. For example, I have Alarren's "@fhq_accessories" in my steamapps/common/Arma3 folder, complete with "Addons" folder, but when I fire up PwS, it's not seeing it. It still has his M4 (v1.2) in the mod list, but no "fhq_accessories" anywhere. I've even installed his 1.4 version and PwS things that it's up to date, but doesn't know about the accessories requirement.

Also, my "Mods" directory and "Packs" directory are both: E:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Arma 3

I have no doubt I'm doing something wrong, but I haven't figured out what, yet.

Strange, @fhq_accessories shows up under local in Six for me, after I downloaded it from armaholic and put in arma3 folder.

I'm running the beta of the program, maybe that can have something to do with it.

Also make sure it's running in administrator mode.

Bah. I didn't realize "Local" was under the "mods to set." Found that and there's the _accessories. Thanks. PwS is still showing v1.2 of the fhq_m4s, but I'm sure that's a PwS issue.

Thanks again. I'll mess with it tonight to make sure it's working.

Hello how can i have playwithsix recognize my arma 1 install?
PwS currently supports ARMA2, OA, CO, ARMA 3 Alpha, IronFront, Take on Helicopters and Carrier Command.

Support for more games, and manually adding games is underway.

Copy the @modfolder to the repository folder and hit commit.

Setting the Packs directory to the same as the Mods directory is bad and pretty much pointless. You'll probably have a lot of duplicate modfolder names now. The packs move with the mod folders normally, so leaving it blank should be fine, unless you want them on a different harddrive.

Anyway it will change soon enough with Synq on the horizon :)

Thanks for the continued support and help. I'll nuke the packs line then. And thanks for the request link. I forgot about that.

Once I found the local mods option, stuff got easier. I just didn't know what to look for before.

I did state I would check pws again. I have been using it lately with the CIA friday night arma 3 sessions. I must say after giving a bit more time to learn, (about ~5 mins) it isnt all that bad. It (imo) still lacks the raw functionality that SU has, but it is definitely usable.

pws~ Arma3 is still my go to recommendation for all newcomers! Keep up the good work and keep improving!

We believe to finish adding the remaining funtionalities from SU within a month with improved GUI elements too.

Just updated PwS and now it crashes on loading. Had this problem before I recall. I let it send an error report so hopefully that will show the problem.
