Nicholas 5 Posted May 10, 2011 (edited) I don't know if it's ArmA 3. ArmA3.com is currently registered through the registrar joker.com. But arma2.com is registered through register.com. Would they be using two different registars? bistudio.com is registered through register.com as well. ArmA 1 is registered through register.com by Marek Spanel ArmA 2 through register.com by Marek Spanel BIStudio reigstered through register.com by Marek Spanel ArmA 3 is registered through joker.com by Viktor Mrnustik in Karlovy Vary with what is obviously a fake phone number. All are registered within CZ, Czech Republic. Edited May 10, 2011 by Nicholas

Nicholas 5 Posted May 10, 2011 The website for Take on Helicopters is indeed using a discreet registration, but all of the ArmA websites and BIStudio is not using discreet registration. Registrant: Domain Discreet

Nicholas 5 Posted May 10, 2011 Perhaps something of importance, but keywords and tags used in registration of Arma3.com Arma 3Description: PC game Arma 3 Keywords: arma, arma3, 3, 2, arma2 Tags: arma, com, game, games, bohemia, free, idea, css, interactive, contact, home, templates, this, site, which, web, will, was, called, Damn, never actually went to the ArmA 3 website lol. Thought I was on to something there. Either way, I doubt it's ArmA 3.
mattxr 9 Posted May 10, 2011 Does malden have a history of greece? Anyone find the background information on malden in the OFP Story? or is it purly real life malden... What happened in CWC Campaign? Any kind of revolution? think that was more Resistance expansion but that was nogova... :S

What happened in CWC Campaign? Any kind of revolution? think that was more Resistance expansion but that was nogova... :S http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Malden I never liked Malden, its color palette basically consisted of birdshit yellow, birdshit green and for some reason purple. noubernou 77 Posted May 10, 2011 http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/MaldenI never liked Malden, its color palette basically consisted of birdshit yellow, birdshit green and for some reason purple. I loved Malden, but I think mainly because of the OFP demo... :p It was the first island where you had the freedom that this game series has! Driving off in that jeep in the demo mission and NOT following directions.
mattxr 9 Posted May 10, 2011 (edited) http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/MaldenI never liked Malden, its color palette basically consisted of birdshit yellow, birdshit green and for some reason purple. Well Lefkada (Malden) History "The myth about Sappho's suicide at Cape Lefkada is related to other myths linking the island to the ancient Greek goddess of love, Aphrodite" Well Aphrodite was married to Hephaestus so i think thats that link cracked too... I remember the Avon Lady when she first posted some news about OFP2... it said "Operation Flashpoint 2 will feature three different theatres of combat set in environments across Southeast Asia, Central Europe and Africa." but then codem stole the name... then that game.. dissapeared off the map :/ Thinking of Flashpoint Days .. Ahh brings back too many good memories haha Attacking that airport! Edited May 10, 2011 by MattXR

Freeborne 10 Posted May 10, 2011 (edited) Perhaps ArmA3 will feature a demo which has the old Cold War Crisis campaign, showing off the huge difference between the two engines, so the 10 year old veterans can play it and appreciate why they had to change engines. This will have our favorite OFP maps ported over, etc. Surely that explains all the references to old content which contradicts all the modern day references we've seen. OB1 10 Posted May 10, 2011 (edited) abit out of the loop so might be repeating some ppl.. I see people made the link malden = a greek island.. what you reckon is this linked ? [~P8H8~]r3dp3ga5u5 = [~P8H8~](red pegasus) remember James Gastovski ? well he owned a charter business called "Pegasus air taxis" and that Hephaestus fella, well he's a god of among other things 'blacksmiths'. Hephaestus' symbols are a Hammer, anvil and tongs.. One of the logo's associated with ofp is of a Hammer and sickle.. Anthemis werneri - I also found some references to a plant that is common to both Greek and Chinese. but I thought it was a little too far fetched so i didn't bother noting details... pathetic_berserker 4 Posted May 10, 2011 Anyone thought to check for significance of the avatar [~P8H8~]r3dp3ga5u5 is using? @OB1 first I've seen any metion of 'Pegausus air taxis" well spotted. Problem now is, many of the clues are seeming circular in cementing clues already found, but its still not clear if the cement is building anything (scratch head)... maybe boots? Maybe a continuation of the original OFP story line?

pbishop 10 Posted May 10, 2011 Is it me or is the only 1337 letters used 3,5, and 8? and constantly? Why not 7 and 0?
maddogx 13 Posted May 10, 2011 Is it me or is the only 1337 letters used 3,5, and 8? and constantly? Why not 7 and 0? You're right, 7, 0 and also 4 (for A) have not been used, even when it could have been possible. Though they do use 1 in their name (p3r51an 8lacK Hat5 8oy5), which takes us to 1, 3, 5 and 8. Could those numbers be significant?
