If you are inhuman then continue demanding this as everyone will not even bother about you then.

If you think that making this much of content with currently 6000 issues in the CIT

and somemore during the holidays, then awefully you are completely wrong.

Let the developers fix all the issues and bugs before even thinking about another DLC

compatibility issues is most time bullshit (differences in config, range etc.) are important for AI, not person vs. person

some people do not allow on their servers addons cause they are for example "disliking some tags for personal reasons " (for example someone own server and wants pack to be signed with his name, you won't allow, he deletes file)

what can be not compatible (from coding point of view) in addon with vanila game ??? what if most of addonmakers inherit classes from BIS classes (i mean config inheritances like : class my_ak: BIS_AK { model = ...}; )

some other problems told by server owners is another : laziness and stupidity

i read guy who has server, he runs missions on one of community made islands, and you know what ?

people without this island try to connect (although they don't have this island) on and on and on

people moan that they have download something (although downloading tons of torrents)

people have problem cause two optional configs are in pack etc.

Vilas says the right, Take, for example, Kudi Iceland with German road signs. Or P85 Mod, we had on the server. Since there are so many things. We played alone. Most of the things the Addonmakers build are not accepted at all. I look at the server, it is played it always the same. With few exceptions. But that was already at Arma. That's my opinion. Hope that comes with the Google translator is not over false.

yeah having a addon missing to enter this server, press or go to this link to download missing content type thing ingame would bring alot of usermade content back to MP.

The quality of user made contents on armaholic.com and others are impressive.

The amount is extraordinary.

I can only speak for myself, but here are the reasons I rarely download new units/vehicles/weapons:

1. They're rarely used in more than 1 mission and I don't want to have dozens of addons for the sake of a single mission.
   
2. They frequently collide with each other - I frequently had great addons that caused all kinds of conflicts with others. I hardly have time to play nowadays and even less time to track down issues with conflicting addons.
   
3. In many cases the author of an addon makes something great with minor problems and then stops supporting it for whatever reason (real life, being fed up, etc.) I don't want to start depending on something that may stop working in the next patch. Kju's CAA1 is a one example - fortunately someone with time is trying to pick it up.
   

I do generally download more widely used packs (like your P85, McNools's Tier1, RH's weapons, etc.) but only if they're clearly used in a several missions. Plus I download as many islands as I can (if/when they're free of problems.)

In general, I prefer missions only use a small but well-established set of addons so that the same one game setup can handle all of them. I have a few large addon folders with all the addons I use and most of them get loaded based on whether I try to play or use the editor.

I already have several shortcuts to run the game but as I said, I hardly have any time to play and I mostly don't have any to keep setting up different addon sets for the sake of a single mission.

ArmA2/OA just needs something like FFUR for OFP. A content pack that has best and most widely used unit and vehicle models so you won't have to download 20 or 30 of mods. Just one download and you are set.

Pls ppl... stop asking for DLC...there are nearly a bazillion GOOD mods out there...and all you were ever asking for( or nearly all) has already been done....

All those threads with suggestions for DLCs is just ridiculous to me :(

Let BIS finish the 3D Editor, there is more then enough content. I for myself dont know which to use now allready without com addons!
