Best setup for realism

I am looking for addons that add to realism, mainly going to be used for single player, just looking for suggestions on what addons I should be using.

Yes there also GL4, mando missiles, look through Armaholic http://www.armaholic.com/list.php?c=files

and see what you find, there are alot of realism stuff out there. Definally another thing if you are serious about

realism is turn off your crosshairs, and fight in all iron sites, as well as all the indicators and stuff.

Yeah I already have turned crosshairs off and all the indicators. Gonna try all the mods on that list and see how I go.

The R3F lads just released some scripts that deal with weight and tiredness, aptly named the R3F realism scripts. Might want to check those out.

Zeus AI might be worth a check as well, if you want to squeeze a few more ounces of performance out of your AI.

The SLX mod was very modular last i checked it, I'd check that out as well. You can pick and choose the features you want.

I don´t consider ACE as a good thing for SP only, as IA isn´t affected or ready to use most features. For MP is a must.

But thats just me.

Regular ArmA II "Operation Arrowhead" in veteran mode has enough realism for a video game. Any harder and you have more of a "handicap simulation" since lots of actions are already harder to perform than in so called reality.

I don't see the point in ultrahard game modes anymore. Its like with combat fligh simulations online where they tell you that labels are cheats. Well, look into sky, a midsized aircraft 2000m away is definitely larger and more visible than 2 pixels on a TFT out of a rendered Cockpit where you move your head with arrow keys.

Define realism?

Mine is:

What you can or canot do in REAL LIFE is what should

be in game..EDIT: and should be affecting ALL aspects

of the game, INCL AI...

Now some hardcore fans want more than REAL LIFE..

So, No Crosshair and stuff like that is a gamepooper

to me, it ruins the fun...And it is a game..Not real

life...

right, some people define as realistic mods that had not realistic values in config

for me realism is :

- realistic range of fire (bigger for scoped than ironsight, small for pistol-ammo smgs)

- realistic details in look - for example appropriate pouch, helmet , load etc.
