RHS BTR-70 by Manfred (+ promo-missions from Our Army)/RHS Cargo System/RHS Decals

Had the same problem occuring to me: units floating inside the vehicle instead of sitting on top.

I recommend to re-download the rhs_cargo_system add-on; the initial one apparently was borked. Both fixed rhs_cargo_system.7z and .pbo have larger file sizes than the one released early.

all the mirrors are now updated with the new version of cargosystem that fixes the wrong position of the soldiers.

Is there any plans for the BTR-70 to have zoom when gunner in future.

Something just like the vanilla BTR-60 and BTR-90 have?

PP-61AM sight has only 2,6x constant magnification, there's no zoom.

A true RHS Addon! I always loved your stuff, and now that may sound a bit strange, but I really like the way you write the "read mes" :)

I have a noobish question related to the cargo system: when riding on top of a btr and not beeing the squadleader, how do I get these guys to disembark? it doesn't work via the "Transport unload" waypoint...

FLv*VeNoM* so there are 2 ways:

1) If you put bots on the armor through the INIT line, and you want to dismount them by WP, then it must be in line INIT command instead of

{0 = [_x,btr_1] spawn MoveOnCargo;} forEach units group this; 

to write

{0 = [_x,btr_1] spawn MoveOnCargo; _x assignAsCargo (btr_1 getVariable “rhs_cargosystem_fantomâ€;)} forEach units group this; 

Not sure that this will work. In the next patch will add the command to avoid this.

2) If you just want to dismount them by trigger, then use the command moveOut.

You know whats funny? You made gunfire flash effect better than all of the original BIS stuff :) p.s. I managed to shoot out the last right tyre, is that correct? Others don't seem to "break"?

They do, but it takes some effort. The BTR has a automatic tire pressure control , making it extremely hard to harm with small arms fire. If you dont like it you can find in the readme how to turn it off :)

about the flash:

Thnx. Funny story though, this came out of necessity rather then anything else. The default bis setting of one flash per turret limits the number of flash proxies even if you have 2 weapons on the turret. This is for example at night BTR60 you have a flash on the PKT and nothing on the bigger KPVT. After alot of playing around I realized that this could be quite useful for many projects :) and now all our vehicles have flashes on all weapons.

is there any replacements for these tanks an APC?

These are best of work ever tank an APC mod..

i hope there is a chance that some make a good model that can also replace default T-90A.

making a update of the BTR-152 was on the topic list while ago but so far no yes or no were given, maybe sometime later.

About the BMP-1 well pretty much the same, our member Lazarus made a model but so far not much else happened as he also works on a huge Artillery pack.

Shadow NX: I've noticed couple of guys driving this beast (BTR-152 that is) around in A1? Is it a OFP addon working on A1 or something else?

Memory may fool me but i think we never released for A1 as standalone, most probably they configured the OFP one for A2.

Apart from that it should have been in Project85 if Vilas didnt remove it when the old team broke up.

As im not on my PC i cant check atm.

Great this release thx for youre work. I love especially the UNO BTR-70 :D. I have only problems with the cargosystem i can't spawn my team on it hope you will update it for CO. THX again

Edit: thats realy strange if i place 2 BTRs the spawn cargo system works.

Freakin' awesome, especially as the BTR-60 addon crashed my game, so I have none. Will this vehicle work ok with the ACE armor system?

you mean, "will ACE armor system work okay with this addon?" why dont you ask ace team ? if you want support for a mod , ask the mod team themselves :)
