Could you make a screenshot of the problem with the railroad platform please, because I don't know if you were referring to the same place I think or not, I just want to make sure that the bug you found is fixed for sure.

Hey Martin, ill try and geta screenie, but the software i use is having some trouble. the platfor is by a large sone quarry like object. there is a large industrial building, with a pipe system running abouve and alondside the tracks on the far left side. the tracks dead end, where the steps are. maybe its just me, but on the ground, the steps looks a little large in the first place. ill try and get some sreenies up.

i got a screen, how do i post a jpeg file?

1) Go to an image hosting site such as this one: http://http://shareimage.org/

2) Browse for the screenshot and then click "start uploading"

3) Once its done you'll see a screen like this:

4) Copy all the code from "thumbnail for forums" (just click on it and it will select everything for you) and paste the code in to the reply box here on the forums. The submit the thumbnail of picture will show up, then when someone clicks it the full size image will open.

Woah buddy don't rush him he's had some trouble with Internet and he will release it in hi own time. A projects like this takes many hours of work so just be patient at this busy time of year

Taviana Island Beta Released!

Behold, the day has come! After a lot of work, sleepless nights and endless alpha face sorting, Taviana Island is finally here.

The island has experienced many changes since the last release, the biggest of which is that Tavianian language is no longer based on Latin alphabet, but Cyrillic. Also, new cities and approximately 20km² of new area was added; new, interesting and never seen architecture has been added to the object library. The campaign planning has started, but we’re still missing people to help us develop it, so if you’re capable of creating nice missions, please contact Richard (refer to the main thread for details.)

Please note that this is only beta version of the island and it still contains a few bugs and glitches waiting to be found/fixed. Yes, we’re releasing Taviana for you to test and make missions on. Criticism on everything is also welcome, especially on the facts that might be wrong or not accurate. You may also find that custom buildings do not have damage models, we are looking forward to fixing that in the final release, but the time is short and if you could help us that would be highly appreciated and not forgotten (once again, contact Richard.)

Lastly, we’d like to say that we would love to see missions, videos and campaigns taking place in Taviana. Also multiplayer servers running the island would be awesome and we (at least Richard) will try to play on all of them if we happen to find them (also if you have a server that will run Taviana, post a comment in this topic.)

Taviana Island for ArmA II (BETA Version 1.0)

Taviana (Officialy: Tavianska Sovjetskaja SocialistiÄiskaja Respublika - TSSR– The Soviet Socialist

Republic of Taviana) is an island country situated in the Baltic Sea approximately 120km off the coast

of Lithuania or Kaliningrad. It has a population of approximately 1 500 000 inhabitants of who 90% are

ethnic Slavs called “Rustakiâ€, Russians or Poles and 10% ethnic Lithuanians. The capital and second

largest city of the republic is Sabina which is located on the Southern coast of lake Umag, has a

population of approximately 150 000 and has the republics main international airport.

What does this BETA version contain?

This Beta version contains the entire Southern part of the island from the previous release and also

features approximately 20km² of new land in the Northern area of the island, including dozens of custom

models with custom textures, such as a cable car, motorway, tomb, airport building, underground train

stations, a race track and much more...

This is a Beta version which is fully game ready, and ready for missions to be made on, however some

bugs may still be present. No further changes will be done to the completed areas of the island seen

in this Beta in future releases, however if you do spot a bug, please report it.

What is this Beta version for?

I am releasing this Beta version for a number of reasons:

- To present what I have accomplished since the release of the Alpha version.

- To release a version of the island with bugs that were present in the previous version removed.

- To allow users to create missions knowing that nothing will change in what is already done.

- So that you could have some fun!

This addon requires ArmA 2 or ArmA 2 Combined Arms, there is no difference in terms of functionality.

1) Extract the files called "Tavi.pbo","Taviana.pbo" and "osshdy.pbo" from the archive and place them in

Glitches I found so far in Sabina:

-I can't access the hotel interior near the grand station

-the school near the prison is not a solid object(walk through it)

-the mall near the art gallery is not a solid object

-the bank interior is not solid,I walked through it(wanted to see if there is cash in the safe:p )

-when crossing the river from the art gallery to the huge stone building I hit an invisible wall(exact location is where the two phone booths are),btw I'm waiting the bill from you cause I crashed my suv there,one broken wheel and engine pretty damaged:p

-bar in Novy Bor has weird textures

Also I have a suggestion for better AI navigation:

I usually take a car and another AI car to follow me around while exploring,while it seems they can drive decent around the town they have the most problems when arriving at crossroads.

If you could move the poles with the street names a little bit near the buildings they could avoid bumping into them.Although is pretty good you made the streets so wide.

P.S. The poor dude in the hospital is a hint at eastern healthcare?:D

Also the interiors from the custom buildings are awesome.

I dunno Martin ..but my ArmA launcher refuses to detect the Taviana addon.

I tried both rename/keep the original folder name but..nada :/

* I use Alpine stars launcher btw.

If its only my problem..i ll try to find a way to bypass it..but if its not..

I ll search it a little more..

after some minutes...

lol

As it seems my launcher cannot recognize the addon folder if you add something extra to "Taviana (folder name)" like:

Taviana_beta1 or Taviana_my_beer_got_warm.

However..it accepts the kind of "@@Taviana" and "Taviana" (str8)..
