You can try to explain it to me in german matey!^^ But I now what you mean, its mostly bass-less. The High-Pitch Sound can be fixed with the configs. Should be no problem.

So I reworked the config, the result was good, but than I realized, I come not away with it without editing the sound again. So I added a bit of other sounds and added a bit more bass. Now its better, I think. A little piece of tricks for the high out, and it'll be fine.

This is a great sound mod, the best I have used for Arma 2 so far. This might have been already asked, but this thread is quite massive, but are there any plans to add sounds for artillery and tank shells? "fly" sounds?

They are indeed loud. Only cameras can't capture the sound that well.

Because the initial pair of shockwaves (they usually blend together into one crack) is loud enough to damage your ears. A camera can't capture that sort of volume and will record a reduced noise. The much quieter echoes and reverberations (which depend heavily on the surrounding environment) will be recorded just fine, with the result that they are much too loud in relation to the shockwave itself.

That's the thing I liked about BIS' sonic cracks for a long time. They were clean, dry and had no echoes. JSRS turned me around on the issue, but I still prefer it when the echoes are brief and quiet.

It is an amazing mod.

I'm a nervous wreck playing Arma 2 now with all the battlefield noise it opens up.

The only problem is I'm at a slight disadvantage playing PVP with people using the stock sounds.

Pinpointing the sources of shots with stock sounds is rediculously easy.

Thanks W0lle... sry guys, but as already said some times before, there are no more release dates im future! I don't want to work further to a date, I want to work for the sound and its never as that easy.

Back in the day I worked for Interactive Creations, developer of WarBirds, a high fidelity MMO WWII flight sim.

Because we updated the client fairly frequently we were constantly asked 'when is the next version coming out?'

Whether it was scheduled for tomorrow or in a month the standard reply was 'two weeks'.

Well, I could do so, but people getting more nervous and showing this all the time, so I just let them step in the dark. People knowing my work are knowing also I make a good work, waiting is worth it for most of them. I just suprise them some day :D And with all due respect, you cannot compare my simple audio mod with a whole game mate... its not as that much work like a game like WarBirds...
