in 2003 when we went over the berm, here at the 101st we wore IBA with molle pouches attached. I personally, and everyone i know HATE the FLC (the molle vest shown a few posts back) Some units like guys form the 173rd i remember seeing wearing the IBA and alice straps over top. We used to laugh at them cause they would wear the pistol belt way way loose and pull the back half of it up to about thier shoulders. Not sure why but i seen many guys from that unit doing it. Back then standard helmet was PASGT ( we didnt get MICH till end of tour) and gloves were not required. Most guys wore what ever they could get thier hands on as long as they were black or cammo. The majority still used the old leather shell gloves. Me personally i used to carry 3 pairs of black or cammo mechanix gloves.

as for weapons, what would most of them have? A2s or?

still trying to get the dcu on the helmet right before i fix the other problems

The green kinda looks like sea foam green. It needs to be more discrete. Woodland looks great.

Cant wait for these guys and possibly SF! :D

Feedback time! With pics!

First is the helmet. Unaligned and miscolored. Its also too clean.

But you know this

Weird seam issue on the pants. Not sure if fixable.

Pouches are still crap. :p

Weird bumpy texture on vest and just overall low quality texture. Foxeh can do betta!

Pouches and stuff on vest aren't same color as vest. Looks very odd.

I like this little rigging thing, but it definitely needs to have a better texture. Would be cool if used on more than one unit once a good texture is applied

Camelback texture is just green blur. Shouldn't be too hard to fix. Plus the top straps are DCU also.

4. Well either you sent me older versions or they look like that for you aswell. Try looking at them from very close and take a SS.

Actually, I meant that the FLC vest was worn over the IBA, not by itself. like wld said though, it wasnt exactly popular, although there are quite a few pics of them being worn.
