  1. i need a drone addon config for my arma 3 addon, can someone give me a template.
  2. I want a darter to target enemy AA infanty with its laser for the player. Drone name = dr1 Enemy AA soldier name = e1 The drone is succesfully spotting the AA soldier. I then execute following script: dr1 reveal [e1, 4]; dr1 doTarget e1; [dr1, "Laserdesignator_mounted"] call BIS_fnc_fire; The AI starts firing its laserdesignator but it won't target the soldier. lookAt and doWatch didn't work either. I also tried: dr1G doTarget e1; with no success Is there anything else i can try?
  3. Hi! I am a computer since student and I would like to try using Arma 3 drones to generate data for my ML project. Now the problem is that the original drone view has a lot of "noise". Here's an example. I'd like to get rid of it. Does anyone of you moders know where do I start?

Actually, i would like to find a way ( script ) in order to transform any normal vehicle into a drone, drivable via a drone terminal as any drone ( Mq-12 Falcon, AR-2 Darter, etc... ) if indeed that is possible . . Plus, I read a topic about this : But I can't figure out how to do it properly . Is there someone can enlighten me on the subject, it will be so kind from you . Thanks in advance .
  5. The new drones, in particular the minelaying drone, do not have separate UAV controls and UAV turret controls.... and I think its just great. I've been wondering for a while if there was something specifi to drones that prevented the use of a targeting camera like that found on the piloted fixed wing aircraft - apparently there isn't. Also the old MQ-12 turret controls camera was not very good - either you had no stabilization, or you turned it on and couldn't pan the camera at all. I for one would like to see all the flying drones have their control scheme reworked to be like the new drones - just a single pilot with a stabilized camera that the pilot can switch to while maintaining control of the craft, does anyone else agree?
  6. Pet Peeve. I can't turn off the collision lights on my drones. Even the new Sentinel. Seems very unrealistic to have our stealthy drones up there lighted like a Christmas Tree...... Is there a way to turn them off I am not aware of. There is noting in the options, or settings........ Thank you in advance.

    QUADCOPTER "DRONE" ADDITION

    Take on Helicopter + Arma 3 Carts = QUADCOPTER RACER ADDITION "Quad-copter" or Drone Racing is getting huge. Games like Liftoff on Steam are already starting early access for this new genre. Bohemia Interactive could easily penetrate this market with their own addition. Just a thought... Please consider. Thank you. :)
  8. I recently started playing with the 3D editor and think that I stumbled on a bug. I guess this must be the right place to post this since the bug tracker is still offline. Placing a drone (without a player character to control it) in the 3D editor and then right-clicking it and selecting the "play as character" option has an interesting effect for me. When I crash the created drone, no game over screen appears. Instead, the screen becomes blurry. The menu where you can restart or return to the editor is missing. Pressing escape doesn't help. I cannot go back to the editor or close the game because the menu interface is gone. This does not happen with drones that are controlled via a drone terminal by a character. I tried this with the MQ4A Greyhawk and AR-2 Darter drones. Edit: Nevermind, I am pretty sure I found the reason behind this. Using the regular 2D editor you cannot make the "autonomous" class of vehicles player characters. They are obviously not meant to be directly player controlled, therefore the "play as character" option does not work properly in 3D editor. I guess I will report this using the bug tracker when it is up again. This is what it looked like when I crashed the drone. I had to close the game manually:
