The Bombmaker (Machinima)

Recommended Posts

This is my first ArmA 2 machinima, though I've made several others with the original ArmA. Let me know what you guys think.

(I tried embedding it but no luck, so here's the link)

Beautiful vid - wonderfully conceived!

How did you get the A2 voices to construct sentences like that! Did you grab the fragments, then use Audacity to string them together?

Masterful!

Didn't he just pull soundfiles from the Campaign (People talking about Chedaki in Czech) and put it on top of unrelated subtitles?

Dunno how you did it with the voices, but they fit the subtitiles perfectly

Yes, I took the sound files, according to the characters, listened to them all and converted the ones I wanted from ogg to wav. It wasn't that technically difficult but it took some planning.

And thanks for the positive feedback. =)

Unless its me when the music peaks it overshadows the volume for the spoken voice work.

Apart from that its very nicely done.

[youtube*hzrBMdErXxQ*/youtube] use the youtube tags (replace * with brackets) and the video code after the v= in the url to imbed

That was very good. The music did drown at the voices at certain parts though. There were also a lot of parts that went by too quick making it hard to keep track of what was happening but I think this was due to you trying to keep it under 10 minutes. Altogether though, Great work and I wish I was that good at that kind of stuff.

Well done my friend. Where have I heard that music before? it sounds familiar.
