    Hey guys, not sure if this is a bug or I'm not using it correctly, but I can't seem to use the AGM-114K Hellfire on the AH-64. I figured out the AGM-114L but not the K. Am I supposed to be able to use the laser designator then lock onto it's mark with the 114K? From what I found on the internet its some kind of laser guided , but I can't seem to figure it out in game.

    I was on with like 30+ people, I think really the biggest issue was no squads, everyone just talking on team chat was to disorganized I think.
  4. Hey guys. This glitch where I crash my helicopter, and in first person it makes this terrible glitchy sound, no way its what its really supposed to be the real sound. It only happens in first person, it happened to me about 4 times, on the arma 2 map Celle 2. (using a3mp) It happened to me twice today when crashing into trees, ok so you might suggest its the fault of the map, maybe some material sound was defined wrong. Nope. 2 of the times I crashed it was in a little bird, and it hit a ArmA 3 prop each of those 2 times (once a "dirt hump (small)" and once a white factory building (from altis)" the other 2 times, I was in the aaf heli, the one that is a ch49 or whatever (the weird chinook variant), and I hit trees in the map, it happened once by accident, but wasn't too loud. I recognized it and tried to repeat, I crashed into a tree (Not that it matters, but the same model) and it made the sound again, because it asploded my eardrums :crazy: *ouch*, I quickly changed to thirdperson, once in thirdperson the glitch sound ended and the regular explosion one was there, switching back into first person quickly, I heard the static shit fading away (ie: it was still the sound from firstperson when I went back). This happens randomly and makes me afraid sometimes to crash helis :eek: I really don't know why, all audio works fine besides this one sound ingame, and on my computer, I played a song from Okean Elzy right after that static shit experience, and it sounded just fine :cool: This is really odd, its not like the same static I get from firing cannons of some a-10 when my fps drops to 10 lol, this is really LOUD *ouch* static, this is some type of glitch. Thanks if you can help, I wonder if anyone experienced this. Its very specific in terms of its scope, I hope this gets resolved in some sense.

    Steam Workshop Changes?

    It's just not realistic to be able to take down all those mod-packs and stuff, it isn't going to happen and its not like Valve wants to bother with that anyway, and Bohemia doesn't have the resources. Just make a modpack category, we all know people are going to upload things they don't own, but there are probably some legitimate mod-packs as well, or even authors wanting to make a modpack of their own mods or something like that. At least that way, we can just not have to see all of the modpacks.

    I haven't really had any problems with Humvees, are you talking about the UAZ? They seem to take more damage at least. The optics are good for me, Not sure if your talking about RHS or what but in RHS you can change what kind of optic you want to use as well in the options (2d, 3d, PIP) if some of them don't suit you.

    Yeah I have cup weapons and us mil mod from steam workshop, works just fine. I like the US Helmets, nice stuff.
  8. I think he's implying he prefers ACREs updates to TFAR, and there isn't anything wrong with that. I personally prefer the ACRE mod in general as well. This thread isn't about TFAR anyway, no need to bother him. Unrelated, does the new teamspeak update affect ACRE at all? Thank you.

    64-bit Executables Feedback

    This video from some other guy shows the same issue that I have, once my FPS starts to dip, I get this problem: Video I stopped getting this maybe about a year ago or something, it was seemingly fixed but now with 64 bit I am getting it again. My sound is on 48khz and 24 bit. Im using an audio interface ( not a "gaming" sound card) but I did not have this problem for a long time until this 64 bit update. Dwarden said this issue had been fixed a long time ago I believe, but I am getting it again. Edit: I was playing again and didnt seem to get the issue any further, not sure what fixed but it seems to be gone so far.

    No, i'm not. I have a not-great computer (Phenom II x6, gtx 770, 8gb ram) But I didn't get this sound glitching/lag thing for like a year, as soon as 64 bit came in I'm getting it again. The overall performance seems to be fine if not better but as soon as I lag i'm getting the super glitchy sound thing.

    I seem to be getting worse FPS on the 64 bit build, and I am getting the sound glitch I had before again (which seemed to be fixed for a long time)when guns fire where it sounds like a sound buffer problem and it sounds horrible and everything lags out.

  15. Hey guys I just saw that image of this (I think a US?) radio that you guys had modeled, wondering if you guys had any plans for ACRE features with that stuff? That would be pretty cool.

Yeah I noticed the square thing on the helmets on the pictures, great models by the way. :) If you were to make an optional PBO, would that kind of thing affect multiplayer compatibility (ie: add diff items) or just replace the textures? Im not quite sure how that would work in the arma engine, Thanks.
  17. Cool pictures of the mines and other stuff. IFA3 is a very popular WW2 mod right now and that mod/game isn't censored. Yeah I also don't think it should be censored but either way still a cool mod definitely looking forward to it, Im curious to see how you guys implement new mine systems.
  18. The new version that I just got on steam workshop seems to work fine , I just updated to 3.1.1 and I had no problems.

    Use the manual bolting feature in RHS options, You just click again to rack it once you've seen whether you hit the target or whatever. I like it, if your used to playing Red Orchestra it should be familiar.

    @bek Wow nice work on the wood textures man, those AKS-74 look great. Are you guys putting similar textures on the AK74SU as well?
  24. That looks really great, the quality looks just as good as BI models. ( and its probably more detailed :) )
