    thinking of upgrading GPU for arma 3...

    thanks guys for the input!! my CPU is a I7 3970x 3.5ghz with 4.0 boost and running arma 3 on 250gb SSD 16gb ram also. just used to be able to run arma 3 on ultra everything and now it seems to stutter a lot more than it used to. wondering if the card is on its way out as its over 3 years old. good old cyberpower systems ;)

  4. tried to register on forums but no email, so can someone post this on the bug thread please. My findings. some of the US bunkers and other buildings have no texture (possibly some others too) the weapon sounds are very faint from a distance and just hear the bullet snaps. (had 2 groups fighting but i hardly could hear any gunshots for some reason.) lighting on foilage changes when you zoom in and out. (goes darker then lighter)
  5. i already had the alpha installed via PWS when i loaded pws just now it didnt say update... and i know pws doesnt download stuff when it aint running lol i tried DIAGNOSING option but said all was green. its an issue on pws end im sure

  7. i dont understand what the settings mean? theres no description to explain what each setting does when changing values. any ideas?
  8. ah right gotchya ;) have you seen the blood lust mod?
  9. please team up with the blood splatter mod omg would be chaos ;) OO OO any plans for other limbs to explode from grenades tanks etc. or if the explosion is powerful enough to render them bits of body parts on the floor with bloody details and guts ;)
  10. oh wow... im liking the look of this mod!!! hehe going to make firefights more interesting where i just watch other people rather than shoot the enemy myself. question(s) 1. do you plan to make it possible to loose limbs from explosions? like a leg or an arm. 2. do explosions make a massive blood mist etc? 3. do you plan to make any sound effects for this mod? i.e. getting blown up could make a mushy sound as body parts fall to the floor lol basically all explosion based buddy lol
  11. from the very beginning BI said the games engine could support fast roping, just wondered if we will see any implementation? seeing as we have sling loading the rope physics are there :) BI any comments? thanks in advance! :)

    i didnt want to cause any issues :( just thought id ask, and i have noticed and noticing everything they are doing and im very thankful. just curious to see what else is up their sleeve lol
  15. and as for AI respawn i synced it to ONLY my group and when unknown size is selected on the module they dont seem to respawn. if you select platoon, etc etc they do... but... some other units randomly spawn too. the mods i was using was mainly, CUP terrains and RHS blufor units

  18. Massi, have you found the issue where the unit varients do not show up properly in the eden editor? for example... rifleman rifleman rifleman rifleman rifleman (each rifleman would be a different type, woodland, desert, so on) but in eden they show up like this.

    ah ive just noticed that you cant customize the radius the zombies spawn in. they always spawn ON the module/logic and they all spawn together. maybe if you could make a simple spawner that spawns the selected type of enemies in a X radius chosen by player. so they are all bunched out randomly and another module to make them wonder about on there own :D just a little idea

    ooo could you give me an example code? is it simply.... modulename attachto playername and can do the same for the delete module? or is the game logics better :)

    does this mod still make static units randomly walk? because thats the only thing that annoyed me a little as i didnt fancy typing this disableai move or give every static unit a waypoint lol. or is there an option to turn it off??

    as for lan is there anyway of being able to save the database? for example if me and brother wanted to continue where we left off kinda thing. worth an ask i guess.
