  3. Hi, I have some problem with this situation. The player should find a fallen UAV, the quadricopter, disassemble it and take the backpack. I've found an example in the wiki and I did this in the init.sqf bag = unitBackpack recon; class = typeOf bag; And in a trigger I used this in the condition: class == "B_UAV_01_backpack_F") But it's not working, it works only if I spawn the backpack on the unit this addBackpack "B_UAV_01_backpack_F"; So what am I doing wrong? Why it's working if I have the backpack on my shoulder but not if I take the backpack after disassembling the uav?

  7. Hi, I'm trying to build a fence up hill but i get some kind of bug, I use Dren's Editor Upgrade to spawn the fence. Here's the bug: As you can see the problem is only with the fence, I tried other fences and they have the same problem. The wall is working, not perfect but at least is working, but not the fence. Am I doing something wrong? Is a known bug? Is it only for me or should I open a ticket? Thank you and sorry for my english.

Hey guys, sorry for the title I don't know how to explain myselef better, anyway, I'm making a mission, two unit are riding in a car, and I want to have a black screen fading in, then I want to play some sounds, and I want the black screen to fade out a couple of hours later, with the unit outside the car, one of the unit must be dead. I managed to have the black screen using this code i found in the forum, but not the way I want, the black screen just happear without fading in, I tried all the title effects but only this one is working, so if someone can fix it i would really appreciate, but it's ok even this way. titleCut ["", "BLACK FADED", 999]; sleep 10; "dynamicBlur" ppEffectEnable true; "dynamicBlur" ppEffectAdjust [3]; // intensity "dynamicBlur" ppEffectCommit 0; "dynamicBlur" ppEffectAdjust [0.0]; "dynamicBlur" ppEffectCommit 11; //fade in time titleCut ["", "BLACK IN", 10]; The hard part, at least for me, is making the "aftermath", using this method, the game keeps playing, so i can hear the engine and the car goes ahead, how can I make what I said in the first line?     The effect is perfect, thank you kylania. The unit get ejected, but the engine is still on and i get an error at "passenger setDamage 1;" and the passenger is still alive. EDIT: No, the engine is off, but that error is still there.

    Throttle problem

    Yeah, you have the same problem as me. The problem is that if you go into the controller option, the throttle goes from -100 to 100 and you can only set the middle point to go more down and not up. I used the tutorial that I posted before to make the throttle from 0 to 100 and in this case to make the chopper hover, in the option I had to set the middle point at something like 34.   13. I didn't played the game in a couple of days, am I the only one with an echo effect in the little bird playing first person or is a know bug? When I shoot, the sound keeps playing four or five times, even the emergency sounds, if I use the third person it's all fine.

There is no mission, just the editor and one chopper.

Yeah, for the final release I hope to have another pc, I need it even for Rome 2, just bought a Trackir 5 so I'm just putting away some money. :P Anyway, I can confirm that the problem happen only with the Little Bird, I tried some heavy chopper with 35/40 Fps without PIP and all on standard, but when I take the Little Bird the the fps swing from 22 to 27, mostly 25. EDIT: Is strange, because it look totally random, sometimes is fine with the same fps of the other chopper and sometimes the drop to 25.
  20. No, I always used the dev version and autodetect doesn't work really good for me, it sets something on high and the game would not run really smooth. I have to say that I didn't notice the frame drop much with other chopper, but in the littlebird was more noticeable. When i played Arma 3 in mp with a lot of pepole I had to switch something to low or disable something to have a really good game, i'm scared that after the last update i can't enjoy a great mp game.

  22. I used to place a chopper in the editor and fly just to make practice and i noticed some frame problem. I don't have a last generation pc, but I was able to play Arma 3 in SP all on Standard at 37fps. After the last patch I was playing at 20/25 fps, and I had to disable PIP and set Clouds on Low to get more than 30. Anyone alse have the same problem?
  23. +1 And sometimes happen that the medic die or is injured so it's not possible to heal him and the other soldiers. It would be really great if could be possible to carry the injured soldiers on vehicles for extractions, I think this would add a lot more of immersion and there would be more kind of mission and way to play.     Yep, we are using the DEV, anyway they have joined my squad, but they wont follow me. Btw, we had some fps problem, it was a little bit laggish, i was playing at 10fps, but I really don't know if is the mission or something else. Hope it will help you, it seems a really great mission!
