After trying the dev build with bipods, weapon resting, suppressive fire etc I find impossible to go back to regular build lol Awesome ! gg

So, while me and my friends are totally Zeus addicted and we can no more play without it, when using zeus we getting a very annoying desync problem. Now I don't have 100% proof yet but I made lot of reasoning these days and I realized sometime Zeus worked sometime not, and the times that Zeus caused desync was when I used the task module, so maybe it's the taks module itself causing this ?! I will make further testing the following days, meanwhile please if you having issues of this kind let me know

Personally I don't care if suppressive fire may break some missions balance, this feature is too much important and gamechanging, it would make real life tactics more efficient. I'am not a programmer so I don't know how to make it happen but what I would like to see is AI reacting to suppressive fire by first of all going prone/rushing in cover, AI caught in the killing area should try to get out of it while the rest of the AI squad return fire allowing their teammates to survive. There are some tweaks to do but this suppressive fire feature is already really promising, keep up the good work

Guys since last update I'am having a weird issue , I can't make the Attack helicopters / Jets fire ? I press my joistik fire button or left mouse key and nothing, they work when I'am a soldier on foot but when I enter an Air vehicle nothing I can't shoot. Another question, is suppressive fire already implemented ? if yes, how it work ? thanks

Hey Drongo69 I'am investigating on the out of sync problem and now I think the problem is Zeus related and not caused by your mod. It may be caused by the custom tasks present in zeus cheers

dedicated server vs non dedicated servers ?

So guys, untill now I always made mission for hosting them in the regular way, now I would like to start hosting using TADST and I know things that worked in MP hosting on non dedicated server way may not work as intended on dedicated servers. So what's the difference between non dedicated and dedicated servers ? How to make missions for dedicated servers ? thanks -
okay guys, It's the whole week that I try to find out why me and my friends get desync. At first I thought it could be my system but damn I always hosted for my 3/8 friends and never a problem. So today we tried again, we did two editor missions full of AI and Script and the max we get was a bit of lag from time to time but no desync, never. Then I tried basically an empty map with just zeus, at start all ok, then I started placing the AI and Tasks and desync happened, crazy desync that made the game unplayable and I had to quit Anyone Else having this issue? I use Zeus+Mods, happened with very different set of mods so I don't think it's particular mod related.

Have you ever tried to assign tasks as Zeus and to eventually turn off the marker position ? because in my case it looks like that is causing desync.

Yeah I don't have 100% proof yet about being a Zeus issue, maybe a Zeus + Mods issue, I was seeking for confirmation. I need to make further tests, specially with the assigned tasks as in my opinion those are the ones causing the out of sync.

Hey guys, we are from EU/USA and me and my friends (10players) are recently getting interested by the idea of having a dedicated server. The problem is that we have no experience on dedicated servers, I just have myself some experience in mission making with mods for missions I personally host from my pc, non dedicated. So I think what would help in getting more people interested in your offer would be a short video or something like that where you explaing advantages of dedicated servers vs non dedicated ones and the level of expertise required to manage a dedicated server. I know many like us that don't own a dedicated server just because they have no idea about how it works and what it gives. cheers

Hey guys , like the title says, I would like to know the main reasons behind desync issues as recently me and my friends are facing very gamebreaking desync problems. Some info I host games from my pc Port Forwarding on firewall and router done PC specs : windows 8 - Intel i5-2500K @4,5 Ghz - 670 - Gigabyte Z68X-UD5-B3 - 8GB DDR3 G.Skill Ripjaws - SSD OCZ Agility 3 120GB My internet speedtest : http://i.imgur.com/2hiJ4Af.jpg Players joining my sessions are 10 max with an average of 6/7 We always play modded and we use Play With Six for our collections and launching the game, I have no proof thos if those joining me use exactly my same mods. Desync happened even with just 3 players joining the server and on very basic missions with just the Zeus module, RHS mod, Halo jump and virtual arsenal in it Feel free to ask if you need more info, thanks

Thanks dude One question, I'am not an expert of AIII editor and specially of scripting but my missions still have always met me and my friends requirements so until now all ok, except when desync happen. When I tried to host my missions with TADST however those same missions that worken when hosting in the regular way here failed to work as intended, so from what I understand the missions that work when hosting in the regular way may not work when hosting with a dedicated server. Why this happen and where can I find more info on how to make missions that work on dedicated server too ? many thanks for helping

I never tried the server exe and I don't know how to host with it, what about using TADST ? Ok I will try check with perfmon, thanks
