I am almost absolutely positive you read that wrong... Lingor does NOT work... It WILL crash your game EVERY TIME... there are several posts in this thread that state exactly that..... On a side note if you look in the ARMA 2 section youll see that ICEBREAKER(I think that is his handle.. i have been away for a while) the maker of lingor has stated clearly that he will be porting his maps over to arma three at his pace. so be patient and youll have lingor in arma 3... you just have to wait...

If i may say so, the rain effect is fucking sweet!!!! one thing though, does anyone else find the droplets to be a bit big on the windsheld. some of them look realy big, some would make a 10cm diameter / or bigger splash. that would be a huge droplet. if you have a random variable to set the size of the particle effect I think the top end needs to be shaved a bit, the drops, well the splash effect your creating, should be smaller. and, is there any way to add this effect to all planes and vehicles added from mods? or is that idea really a pain? its great!! i dont know if its ASR_AI or another mod but i do know for a FACT that i saw AI taking ammo from a dead body... hmmm Ill admit though im running so many mods i cannot be bothered to list them here. I just wanted to say that i have seen it going on, but i dont know whats causing it..

im not sure you under stand what i want to do. I was wondering if you can remove the drop down of ai force selection and replace it with a user defined value of 0 - 1200 units... So instead of being restricted to using mutiples of 30 . I could set it to a specific amount. 150 or 75 or 11. or 5. IE not have to use multiple modules, just simply input the specific amount. so instead of a drop down that you select from 30 units or 60 units .. its just and empty line that you input a number and that is the amount of units you want to create. Its a question of weather you can add it in as an option for mission makers? not if the module can do it, because i know it cannot in its present state. I just think that restrictions in that sense can be well a bit restricting... Will it blend? -

hey Alive team, I have a question that i do not know if its been asked as i have been sparsely reading the forums lately. I was just wondering how difficult it would be to change the force strength/AI amount selection. IE not restricted to 30-60-100... etc. can there be a way to just input a number from 0 to 1200? That is all. Thanks for your mod!! -

all this talk about how SOS is better then JSRS. I have to disagree.. JSRS was the first sound mod to add distance variables, and in room sounds, and other effects.. JSRS IS #1.. All other are simply following the leader, but remember "Imitation is the highest form of flattery". SOS is great please DONT GET ME WRONG HERE.... however, my previous statements still stand. (although i could be wrong about it being the first with implementing different sounds based on distance?- i have been wrong before) That being said I am VERY glad the old sounds have been replaced, I TOTALLY enjoy the different sounds (no more clangy echo with every gunshot). I'll run JSRS one day and SOS the next. I like the change up! I like the plethora of bullet cracks and the punchy grenade sounds in SOS. The same with JSRS, the bullet cracks , the explosions. its all GRAVY. On that note i have noticed that some sounds need a little tweaking in the volume. but outside that this mod is GREAT.. it offers a different and welcome atmosphere to ARMA. One thing that i dont understand is that fucking whistle. it comes out of nowhere and often scares the shit out of me.. It sounds like its right next to me ... and theres no one there.. It just doesnt make ANY sense to me. But hey beggers cannot be choosers!! Thank You BigPickle for ALL your/your teams hard work. I totally appreciate everything you have done with this mod and certainly hope that you dont take my comments to heart just like the others i am simply stating my opinion and nothing more. Thanks!

Having a blast with the latest version. and a question about the new "hitcoef". when it says 75%, it means 75 percent of the original skill value is kept (25% reduction in skill?) , and then each subsequent hit, skill is again reduced by 25%? is that correct. so the higher the skill the less skill reduction per bullet indused injury? just want to make sure that im going the right way with the numbers here. i got a bunch of ai that are looking and aiming up and not engaging anything i am sure its skill related.

Robalo, I as looking thew the userconfig and i noticed that two factions were mission. OPF_G_F (OPFIA) and BLU_G_F (FIA), the two Guerrilla factions of opfor and blufor. I just copy and pasted from existing values and made a new class. I dont know if there is some inheritance from opfor and blufor classes,? so thats is why i am pointing this out. class BLU_G_F { // BLUFOR Guerrillas coef = 0.5; }; class OPF_G_F { // OPFOR Guerrillas coef = 0.5; };

tpw there is a setting in the config file and with in the bcombat.sqf that you have to change its set to disable fatuge by default. i have it turned back on. its in there cant remember the variable name but its something along the lines of bCombat_enablefatigue -

i think i downloaded this pack like 10 times before i got a "Good" version that decompressed like it's suppose to.. I ended up just waiting until it was on PlaywithSix and just got it from there.. no unpacking needed.. no muss no fuss. however, the latest update to playwithsix has rendered it completely useless, playwithsix constantly fucks up and doesnt load the mods for me to browse. i had to find a old version of PwS and delete the old and reinstall the old version...

FIRST OFF This mod looks like it could be very interesting and has great potential when implemented. but im curious.... I have been following this thread here in this section since it was posted (here in this section)... I have yet to see a download link. am i missing it?? I have read most of the thread, and i dont see any links posted for an alpha or beta version for testing or anything.... I am curious as to why this is in the completed mods section when there already is a thread in the mods:discussion section? and in this thread, is a continuation of the discussion.. Doesnt all this chatter belong in the discussions thread? i donno, just confused as every time i see an update to this thread i think there is a download link or some pertinent information about the mod.. when its just more talk about bullet values.. Well Anywho, I am really looking forward to downloading this and giving it a whirl!!. It would be nice to have more realistic simulation going on! Thanks for your work and time! thanks ArJay, I actually was just about to edit my previous post. I forgot to read the changelog. so i did. saw that tidbit about it just being a warning. However, during this test i did not see any units spawned. thats why i assumed it didnt work. Thanks for the quick reply, just got home, brouzing the forums and going to go test. yea i didnt wait long enough last time. its definitely doing something in dev.
