  1. Hi, is there any way to force AI to shoot RPGs on enemy infantry? I tried removing all the other weapons on the unit, with no avail. Thanks.

    ARMA 3 Addon Request Thread

    I'm probably going to get a lot of stick for this, but I wanted to know if THIS kind of infantry gameplay were possible in Arma 3? How complex would it be to design such a mod allowing this sort of interaction with the environment in the game? Mine's not really a wish by the way, just curious to know. Thanks. EDIT: Apologies to the DEVs for incorrectly posting as seperate topic.

    A better radio/team command system. Improved AI movement, especially in urban areas for CQBs. Lean and peak alla Rainbow 6 Vegas. Hand signal animations, especially during stealth mode. Improved weapon customisation - more possibilities for laser and/or tac-flash placement, stocks, scopes, etc.

    That mission was a pain but I worked a way round it buy using the 'x' key to activate auto hover when necessary. Unfortunately selecting it on the menu alone doesn't help.

    This has always bothered me since the first day of release. In the beginning I always told myself that, well, BI are continuously developing the game (which deserves more credit than realised) so in the end, eventually, the Civilian Ambient Modules would make a comeback some day. Yet, alas, they never have. A shame really, I did enjoy using those. They did add to the experience of the gaming. However I'll be honest in saying that if it were for me, I would rather put priority in improving squad formation and movement within the game, including (and it's about due bloody time) a much improved communication system (for squad, support etc), which hasn't seen change since OFP..!

    Posts about rubber bullets and tear gas: if you're being sarcastic, fine, but if your comment was serious then Jesus, IDAP are an aid organisation for humanitarian purposes, not the Riot Police (or SWAT for the matter)! What good would that do for them?

    I may or may not have understood you, but I think you're seeing the wrong side of this. By introducing a faction which concentrates on the 'ugly side of war', it is really, with a sense of irony, glorifying it, especially for those who have a wet appetite for this level of gaming. Laws of DLC, in essence, is just another immersion in the theatre of war. So for those who can't distinguish the difference between this and reality, it's just another excuse to step away from it, which for fans like ourselves, is of no concern nor loss.

    Not until you mentioned it. It's definitely a human figure, but I can't tell if he or she's wearing some sort of mask or helmet? Is there some sort of belt also?

  14. Is it possible to create a carrier version of the plane that has the ability to fold wings 'alla' Osprey? Having asked that, even if it were possible, would the aircraft still be considered 'too big' for the USS Freedom? Also, folded rotor capability for the Ghosthawk and Huron would be a nice addition too.

    I have tried the airbrake and for, me at least, it makes no difference. Having said that, my airbrakes are mapped on my joystick, but I wouldn't have thought that made a difference?

    Personally I'd rather have that than bits 'n pieces of information scattered throughout the year a la Ubisoft, where the final product is almost nothing compared to the one first announced. I'm pretty sure that when BI have something concrete to show us, they will. I don't see it being in their best interest otherwise.

    Not sure if it is, but another issue I've noticed with the ACRs is that the reloading animations differ between those that have a Grenade Launcher and those that don't. The former uses that from the SPAR-16 while the latter keeps the classic MX animation. If this was intentional or it has already been mentioned, then disregard my post. However if you plan to fix it, I hope you choose the SPAR-16 reloading version, as it's cooler (in my opinion) ;)

    Infectious Diseases Antibiotic Program - Maybe they'll introduce elements of Bio-warfare into the game? Who knows, perhaps we need to think out of the box here. For starters, who's to say it's in English? Orange DLC is being developed in the Netherlands, maybe it's in Dutch instead? A secret code we're supposed to crack for more info. Intelligent Domotica Aansluit Punt? Nah, doesn't sound right...
