    Robalo, how do you set TMR in conjunction with ASR AI without TMR's AI module? It gives "Warning Message: No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgVehicles/CAManBase.scope"
  3. Campaign completed! Thank you very much SHJStudio for an awesome port that outranks the original. With this campaign completed I say goodbye to CWR2 and Arma2 and there couldn't have been a better goodbye than this wonderful campaign. Thanks!
  4. Sad news... If you could please just fix the main problems (additions of FAK to guys that were first-aided, excessive damage from bonfires and burning vehicles) as a goodbye present it would be great. In any case, thanks for everything you did for the Arma community. It's most appreciated...

Our preferances are Group respawn (mostly to allow convinient JIP for guys that loose connection), and Psycho's Advanced injury System (which is a bit buggy but still the best high-speed-low-drag solution there is for the vanilla's lack of any first aid system). Thanks a lot. Have you tested the mission on a dedicated server?

  10. Take the BMP and ditch the tank. The tank can't hold you team and the hostage, and the BMP is faster. Take out the BMP ahead of you and kill the RPG gunner next to the roadblock. You can ignore his friends. Switch to the driver seat and start racing towards the SE coast. Avoid the near base and continue up NE along the shoreline. Whenever your AI in the commander seat reports and enemy chopper, target it (using the '2' target menu), switch your gunner to his 30mm gun, and order him to load HE rounds (important!). It's important you stay in the driver seat, AI can't drive fast enough for this mission. Whenever you can, drive when turned out (hatch open). This will make it easier for you and your team to spot enemy targets. Run over enemy infantry but keep your speed high. When you are approximately SE of where the hostage is being held drive directly towards his camp. It should take you no longer than 5 minutes to get to there. Knock over the walls of the compound on its north eastern corner by driving through them, get as close as you can to the tent on the North Eastern part of the camp. Disembark and kill the two Sperznaz next to it, and any other enemy guards. Order the hostage into the BMP and drive towards the main entrance of the base. Use a missile to take out the BMP on the left and AP rounds to destroy the Shilka on the right. Drive fast outside the base and return the way you came, using the same tactic for targeting helicopters using HE rounds. Only when you must (when tanks are reported nearby or AT gunners), switch to the gunner seat and use missiles and AP rounds to take out tanks, and 7.62 to gun down infantry. Keep an eye on your radar for tanks, keep your speed high and drive to the friendly base. Good luck! :)

    Hey Taosani, we are using ASR AI on our server and Robalo, its maker, recommended we install TMR's hiteffects module. So my question is, how do I exactly do that? I suppose it needs to run both on the server and on the clients? Which PBOs should be installed? The server is not using any keys so that's one less thing to worry about, but I'm not sure regarding what exactly needs to be installed on the clients and on the server.

    Thanks Robalo! That's an impressive changelog. What do you mean by costs and interesting? We are not using TMR or TPW on the server. Does vanilla include AI skill reduction when hit now? It was one of my favorite features of ASR... What does morale affect? What happens if their inventory is full?

  17. Well, the evidence is a decade old AI bugs. That can happen only with a community that is tolerable to the problem.

    I don't understand how to download the addon version from this page... Can you please explain? Xendance could you please post the addon version on a dropbox page or some host provider like that, and update the first post with it? I'm sure that a lot of players have missed that.

    The friction of your pants' cloth doesn't increase with the weight you're carrying, and even if it did, it would not sound as it is right now. I don't know if you carried heavy weights but that is definitely not how it sounds in real life.
