    I've found a bug with this mod active, the default sniper rifles cant be equipped with SOS scope. Furthermore, default BIS sniper placed in the editor spawned without the scope also

    Roger... never occurred to me to do that. So it's not an issue... Will now to find the culprit and report to the mod creator(s). I suspect it's FHQ accessory mod

    I just noticed this, I cant put on SOS scope on the BLUFOR sniper rifle... moreover, why am I spawned with a sniper rifle that has no scope to begin with?

    I just stumbled on an AI that walked around a corner and shot me the moment he turned and noticed me... before this, it will either go to prone/crouch then point, and shoot. Now they just point and shoot. I think it's good. Btw this is not on a specifically CQB scenario in town (my PC cant handle it). It's just a simple assault on a hill, but there's a small house near there and that's where the encounter around a corner happened

    I noticed something, that maybe good or bad... A group of AI (1 blufor infantry squad) detected 1 Armored vehicle (Marid) and they run away, probably fleeing. Skill in editor is as per default. in arma3.cfg is at 0.60. On one occasion the infantry managed to destroy the vehicle then decided to run away. Upped their skill in editor, and they will stay put longer. Is this intended behavior?

    About the ammo cook off, I noticed it since last patch (before altis), but only noticed with ammo box. very nice, like firecrackers going off. The only downside is there's no sound to go with it....

    ^ rotation while prone: IRL you just roll on your back and shoot. Few seconds 180 turn. If AI can do that (animation) it would be more believable. But for now, increasing prone rotate speed is suffice

    First impression the AI are very good now, deadly as they should be... Havent seen AI passing each other oblivious of one another (different sides ofcourse)... Will test further
  14. I think the player can be suppressed by his own weapon... at least that's what I think happened to me, I fired off a few rounds, and I started to breathing heavily, increase sway etc. can anybody else confirm?

    I think 'new' in relation to the mod which is from ARMA2. But ARMA3 already have those, (new animation skeleton). That is why we have stance adjust and more. We just don't have All The Things yet

  17. I think IRL LMG or GPMG isn't defined by their calibre, but by their role(how it's setup). The FN Mag (GPMG), a 7.62 can also be classified as an LMG if it's fired on a bipod by a single crewman (light role). When the same gun is set up on a tripod, and crewed by a crew of 2 or 3 the gun is now classified as GPMG (sustained role). But that is just my understanding of the concept... and I think a 5.56x45 LMG cannot be used as a GPMG because it's don't have the necessary range. So I guess calibre does define the gun class. Anyway that's just my understanding of the concept. I hope in full released there will be a static MG that can be dissemble/reassemble to fulfil the GPMG role. It will be even better if the on hand MG can be combine with on ground tripod to assemble a GPMG, instead of having a Tripod bag and a Gun bag to assemble one... but I think I've strayed into wishlist territory

    What I'm saying is they have tools that we don't have. That repro mission will give a kind of benchmark for the reporter to retest if the issue is fixed. Or you can dismiss me as a BIS fanboy. Anyway, about the surround sound, I think it's still not fixed, or I just realized the issue. I'm using a stereo headphone and force a virtual surround using the SoundBlaster control panel. (I'm using SB recon3d pciE), But last night I opt to disable the virtual surround and realize the game sound already 3D, meaning it's already 3D surround sound even with stereo setup. So for me, using a stereo headphone I feel blessed. But for those that using 5.1 or 7.1 setup, maybe not so much. So I guess that's what those people that using surround setup are saying... cheers
