It depends on the resolution of your monitor. To 1680x1050 HD5770 1GB is sufficient for a decent frame and over 1680x1050 GTX460 1GB/HD6850 or something stronger.

Your problem is 64bit Radeon HD5450.

@RunForrest you need to create a game profile in ATT for ArmA OA. For Catalyst AI, if you use 10.4, use default. If I use Vsync Off I have tearing but with ATT you have option to use Triple Buffers and VSync On without problem with reduced/drop FPS. This is my ArmA OA profile settings in ATT:

If you just raised the FSB to 400 put FSB/Memory ratio to 1:1 and your memory will work at 800Mhz. 2048MB of pagefile is ok. +1 and I use Contig + Power Defragmenter because you don't need to put Contig in each directory/folder/partition which you want to defragment.

^^ only for 5 series...that mod driver enable MLAA ( Morphological AA ) for 5 series before AMD official enable that new tipe of AA in 10.11 for 5 series.

First update to 1.54 and see if it will stop crashing the game.

Maybe you have problem because you use EcoGreen HDD which mean that HDD spin on 5400rpm only.
