WW2 mod will be the most popular since there is none out there (which is amazing there isn't one and it has been this long). Though I wouldn't mind Command and Conquer :D Infact when somebody created a mod for it for a different game (HALO?) the studio supported it (or atleast mentioned it in their website). I would think the best course of action for popular sci-fis, such as Command & Conquer, Battlestar Galatica, and such, is to ask permission from the owners to guarantee it is not being redistributed for profit or any money is involved with it and as such. -

You are looking for a Combined Arms mission. Larger realism units will make those, you could ask them since sadly after the hard work from their mission makers their mission is typically used only once. It will more than likely have their mods and addons though...

Does anyone know of a way to make it possible to rappel off of buildings? I remember seeing it in ArmA 2 but I think it was an addon... However, there are scripts out there for ArmA 3 to rappel off of helos so I would imagine it would be possible if I could figure out how to do it.

This has been an excellent mod and I really enjoy it! Will you guys be making it for ArmA 3? -
Here are my specs: OS: Windows 7 Home 32 Bit CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955 Processor (3.2 GHz) Memory: 8192MB RAM Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 Now my issue: I have no problem playing singleplayer, I can even set it to fax settings and still get 60 FPS at a min., however when I go and join a multiplayer game it will drop to 40 FPS and then 2-4 FPS in less than five minutes, and in most cases it will just crash. Even the servers I am joining have less than 5 people with a ping less than 100 and I will still have the same issue. When I do LAN by myself my FPS will go down to 30 and stays around there throughout the mission. I am pretty sure I am at their recommended level in their specs so WTF? Solutions I have tried: I have setup my parameter to "-skipIntro -maxmem=8192 -maxvram=4042 -cpucount=4 -exthreads=7 -nosplash -cpuCount=4" and I have changed the arma3.cfg and set GPU MaxFramesAhead=1 and no difference. I have even set everything in my game settings to low or disabled and nothing. This is very frustrating... Edit: I would include my ArmA 3 RPT file but it is over 5mb and causes screen lag if I were to post the whole thing here...

You must be new to ArmA seeing you just joined last month, your solution is garbage so please don't assist me in this matter. As for calling me lazy I did my research and that is how I came up with the parameters as stated above, so your attack on me is uncalled for. -

I am looking somebody to test my mission on its gameplay. You only need ACE and FATA. You can download the mission at: http://www.mediafire.com/download/ddnvmm8ixsuvi9l/Brothers_in_Arms_Beta.zip It is a Single Player Mission (so place it in your Missions folder), I will have a MP once all the bugs have been worked out. Description: You are leading a four man Navy SEAL Team into Pakistan to take out a High Value Target known as Ace of Spades. You will be inserted by HALO and extracted by SH-60, do not alert the civilians otherwise they will report you to the enemy. This is not a Grab and Go Mission, it is a take out only (we don't want him alive). However, you will find some few surprises... I am looking in joining or starting a Royal Marines Unit or Navy SEAL Team. However, age requirement MUST be 17 or older. I will not join a unit that is 16 or younger. Other than that, I am on the West Coast, USA and been playing ArmA series since OFP. -

I do not know what I am doing wrong here, I have set in a unit's init the following: _ReportIn = Officer addAction ["Report In", "ReportIn.sqf"] and in the ReportIn.sqf I have the following: Bob action ["salute", bob]; Officer action ["salute", Officer]; Officer playmove "AidlPercSnonWnonDnon_talk1"; Officer removeaction _ReportIn; I have placed the removeaction to the top and middle but it does not remove the action from the menu. Any help would be appreciated on what I am doing wrong.
