all please check first post for new pics form Cannonsong. After photobucket went tits up to the money gods we lost most of the images within the threads. Cannonsong to some really awesome new pics to show off some assets. Keep an eye out for his spotlights. I hope to have another alpha version in his hands soon for more media.

Hey gents... i know ive been asking around to try and solve this.... if its possible. All the hardpoints in this case are using FAB-100 launcher as weapon, with a MER-6 under the wing roots (pylon type 1) and then the MER-6 MBDZ on the belly (pylon type 2) and then a single bomb (pylon type 3) on the tail hardpoint.... for a total of 26 of the same munition....the ammo stacks just fine in the UI and they all release in burst mode. I just want to get rid of the option to reload the magazine in the scroll menu.

LOL i appreciate your attentions to the details..... but i must warn you as a Veteran myself. A lot of times these things are intentional to make a "likeness" of a real world object not necessarily a replication. To replicate something in this day and age is running the gauntlet of licensing issues, copyrights, and intellectual property. This is the core of why everything in A3 is pretty much fictional compared to past titles where equipment was real world. When i started playing OFP/Arma games manufacturers would have been honored to see you make a digital copy of their plane/tank/ship/or gun. Nowadays not so much.

I think you are asking for something this game is just not capable of... -
give that man a cigar! yes R-24 or AA-7 Apex rough equivalent to western AIM-7 Sparrow R-23T will also be eventually available. I am really liking the new dynamic loadouts.... i just wish there was some sort of GUI or way to rearm the plane while mission is already running.

The problem is the majority of USSR client states never actually used the multi layered battlefield air defenses as intended by their designers. I doubt you will ever find a case where a full on setup was used. Most SA-8s were typically used in the high mobility point defense role teamed with Shilkas and occasionally SA-9s for tight IR coverage....

I am not sure i understand your question about heavy duty air defense? there are a lot of assets yet to be shown. and anything ace is probably out of the picture. So lets end that conversation there

You can look to that as results of your tutelage Also, for those who don't know RKSL provides the lions share of the ordnance that hangs from my planes. Look for a feature of them coming soon.

You have me thinking of ditching the Ivecos.... -
SLA forces in Arma1 had Ka-50. So that would be logical to continue with them or to move up to the Ka-52. Primary attack helicopter will focus on the Mi-24. Possibly a handful of Mi-28s. They are being exported to nations like Iraq and would be available from the Russian toy box.

I honestly don't think they would fit into the scope of the SLA forces. I would like to stick more to eastern bloc, chinese, or their affiliated nations style of equipment.

yes.... that is all i have for right now. I have some stuff in the works but i do not want to disappoint if it does not make completion. Like cannonsong and i kind of laid out before..... Im thinking the Sahrani government is on shaky ground because of the Kings hard line policies, economic woes, conscription policies...etc. The SLA is sees an opportunity with dissent in the RACS ranks, and with the RACS busy with military commitments abroad. This opportunity would be, yes, the chance to right old wrongs, regain a foothold on the main island from the islands the SLA still hold, or a blatant violation of the former peace agreement. Maybe even a UN mandate to return occupied lands. Just because a country is friendly with some western nations does not mean the UN supports it in any way..... just ask the Israelis. This could also provide the opportunity to fight old battles but this time you will have a full red faction with a well thought out and equipped order of battle. Then again this all could be buttkiss and the damn commies straight up invaded the homeland..... viva la revolution...

I could feel a bit of this if Venezuela wasnt still operating so much western equipment.... I would feel more of an Iberian/Northwest Africa flavor with a relationships int he middle east being supported by Russia, China, and red client states.... at least that's my $1.05.... what does your freedom.... or revolution cost? as usual i encourage this discussion. It did make me sit and think a little bit. Made me make some other equipment considerations as well......
