    Oh.. WOW. Amazing BI, just amazing. The models look great, and I'm twitching in my seat waiting for the release. My mind is just blown. Coupled with the fact that Saul helped create the jets, I'm excited for what appears to be a confirmed native aircraft carrier in the game. Thought that little motion tracking clip looked sort of familiar... I feel like a small child waiting for Christmas to come now....

  5. Unfortunately to my knowledge there are no A330-200s released publicly for A3. The closest thing I can think of is the 737-100 [Dust]Sabre has added for Arma, with the model made by Helijah. Fortunately, he recently updated his "Sabre's Military Aviation" mod that contains a KC-737. That would be the closest thing to a KC-30. Likewise, the civilian variant of the 737 is present in his "Sabre's Civil Aircraft" mod.
  6. Sabre is running into the same problem I am. It's not the plane that's the issue, but rather the faction and it's vehicle class that does not appear to work. The custom faction appears in the game, but the custom vehicle classes do not. It's odd. Thank you for all your help so far. Hang on, I just thought of something incredibly stupid. I think I understand what you're saying. Let me check something now....

  9. Ah well, that's a shame. My next best suggestion would be to patiently wait for a release of another version of Operation North Star (ONS). You can download an old version from Armaholic here. Or follow their development here: Be warned, it appears development is slow. Addon makers have lives, too

    Hornet Auto Gyro

    Figured I'd give a little update here. in005 contacted me about the little autogyro for his Mad Arma mod. I've made this specific version a standalone from both my planned release of the hornet autogyro and Sabre's aircraft library dependency to be specifically included in this mod. Some repathing and a making a rough texture later, here's in along side some of the other vehicles. I'm going to work on the texture as it's a rough looking WIP thing, and re-map some of the textures (some parts are stretched). I may also do some modeling to make the current autogyro look more like the one seen in the movie, as pictured above. Keep an eye out, it may be in that pack soon.

    Looks pretty cool, I'll keep an eye on this May I make a suggestion? Keep it clean. Have the payload internal. Either that, or just throw it between the main undercarriage. Best of luck with this project.

    @in005 Well, if you have a model of that, I'll gladly make it, since my modeling skills are terrible However, maybe we can arrange a copy of the auto gyro I made to end up in your mad max pack, and have it supported. It won't be exactly like the one flown by the Gyro Captain, but hey, it's an autogyro PM me if you're interested

    On a side note- I may be doing a tandem, dual control trainer auto gyro in the future. Would anyone be interested if I added a mounted MG (say something 7.62 or bigger) in the rear seat to aim only on the one side, or would you prefer it to be firing from vehicle from the rear seat?

    Couldn't agree more with NightIntruder. Along side hoping for a better flight model in the DLC, the points he brought up are desperately needed. The aircraft should be affected regarding CoG and it's all-around maneuverability in flight along side the visual aspect. I'd love to see fire effects from the engines, something better than the one I made for Sabre's and my aircraft. And, I suppose stoking the fire, not always are the aircraft brought down by missiles, but small arms and cannons from aircraft alike. I second the motion to give some love to wing destruction, as said before they are the biggest surface on an aircraft and are the most commonly damaged. CAS aside, close dogfights employ the use of an aircraft's cannons and air-to-air combat aircraft are all outfitted with cannons, even in the modern age (As was proved to the U.S. government by the lack of cannons on the F-4 and since then have required air combat aircraft to have cannons). Besides the fact of air to air, surface to air missiles usually hit wings as that again is the biggest surface area of the aircraft. Just my two cents. Can't wait for the DLC

  23. Does it not do it automatically? You could do an animation with the engines selection, then use speed as the source... Possibly this in your config.cpp: vtol = 3; // V-44 Blackfish, VTOL using a vectoring near the ground (to avoid blades collision with ground) But I think you should try making an animation with speed as its source. That should work
  24. What do you mean by increments? As in a multi-position animation? (0 degrees of engine rotation, 20 degrees, 60, 90?) Or do you mean how fast it moves or far it goes?

And take a look at this for model animation source: https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Model_Config#Animation_sources. Look at thrust vectors, that's what you want.
