  1. You have too many colours in your tiles

    Heightfield import problem

Heightmap has to be square! An no there is no way around that. I have no clue what you are doing with georeferencing in L3DT, just move it after importing... I suggest you follow a proper working guide https://pmc.editing.wiki/doku.php?id=arma3:terrain:ultimate-terrain-tutorial
  3. be better asking on discord... But have you gone over the colours per tile limit? Plus your seabed is looking for files = "oski_inchkeith_beach_*"; but layer.cfg says oski_inchkeith_strseabed
  4. This will do it for you https://gitlab.com/Adanteh/qgis-game-terrains/wikis/home Also I hope you have been learning from the pmc wiki and not broken youtube guides

Converting .pac or .paa to png

What files is that? I can't think of any arma files that have spaces or extra dots... This from some mod? As it looks like they don't know what they are doing
  6. Nothing you can do, that's how the objects work.
  7. That's Altis map tile info, there is no reason for your map to be using anything in that folder. Are you trying to edit Altis?

    Buldozer movement blocked

If you didn't have them folders, then you ignored errors arma3p gave you and presumed it had finished without reading the dos window

*sigh* that's right its a bug BI didn't fix, nothing to do with the modder....

    Buldozer movement blocked

You don't need to do any of them steps, arma3p removes all that rubbish to remove issues

    Buldozer movement blocked

Don't use buldozer, link to your arma3.exe instead

The solution is simple, use pboproject to pack the map. And make sure you P drive is setup correct, not using arma tools

So instead of fixing the issue and other underlining issues, you want people to tell you a way to ignore it? Easy don't use those objects. Or use the right tools and use them objects like the rest of us are...

But you don't know how to make a map if you're using pbomanager. For all we know you could have set your P drive up with arma tools (wrong again). No one is going to help you, unless you can be bothered to use the right tools. Using other tools just gives weird errors that no one is going to waste time on trying to fix for you

PBO Manager is useless for terrains, looks like you have been following guides that are wrong. First step setup your P drive correct, don't use arma Tools https://pmc.editing.wiki/doku.php?id=arma3:tools:setup-p-drive Then follow this guide https://pmc.editing.wiki/doku.php?id=arma3:terrain:ultimate-terrain-tutorial Forget anything you have learnt on youtube from people like JAF etc

You can use the new objects without owning it. What object is it you are using? What is the exact error message? What you packing the map with?
  18. Maybe you should use a proper config? you using source files like kelleys island?
  19. What files is it sayings is missing? An if pboproject is saying its missing then its missing or you have corrupt files
  20. Did you turn off warnings are errors? What error does it give in the dos window?
  21. turn off warnings are errors in pboproject settings

Converting .pac or .paa to png

Open notepad, copy code into it, save as a .bat file instead of .txt. Then put the file in the folder with the images you want to convert. For png > paa etc, just change those extensions in the code

Converting .pac or .paa to png

@echo off MD temp FOR /F "tokens=1* delims=. " %%A in ('dir /b *.paa') do ( "D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Arma 3 Tools\TexView2\Pal2PacE" %%A.paa temp\%%A.png if ERRORLEVEL 1 goto err ) rem move stuff to current dir and clean out temp dir. move temp\*.png . rd temp pause Can't find the pmc page, but that's what I have saved in a .bat file. Change the file path to yours
  24. Depends what you trying to do: If its a flight only map then 30m will be fine, through you shouldn't use 8192 grid as its broke. If you want vehicles and infantry, then 30m will be awful. You can say goodbye to trenches or any sort of terrain detail. Also it's unlikely you will ever finish a map of that size to any degree of good detail, 100s of people have tried and failed before you.
  25. Some map sizes have that, not a lot you can do really. This is a good read https://github.com/pennyworth12345/A3_MMSI/wiki/Mapframe-Information
