  1. I've helped him test it but I think he may focus more on the infantry now. But I'm not his spokesman so that's just my opinion. Even just uniform/weapon placeholders (and maybe some Doric columns/temples) would be a satisfying start. Also, I'm not 100%, but isn't Unsung working on a functional melee (bayonet, at least) module for their mod?

It would be cool if someone would strip away all the non-ancient structures on Altis, add buildings from a custom-made ancient structures pack, and model period clothing, ships, and Greek/Persian arms and armor, and release it all as the Xerxes Mod. It just seems a great bloody shame to have warfare on Altis mostly restricted to the 21st/20th century. The island is so beautiful and especially with the visual update hoplites and immortals would look sick. Of course, maybe a unit pack would be an easier first step.

    Terrain "Pecher"

    Another suggestion: tag this 'chechnya', so players looking for gritty urban combat maps/playstyles can find this quicker. Will there ever be a broken down metro system or is that too hard to in A3? Edit: Been playing a lot on it tonight. I kind of like the industrial lights and the plaza lights. When I tried to make it really foggy, the whole city became dark instead, I think that might be related to me trying it on dev build though.
  5. Testing mediafire. And yes, there are PBOs in my current folder--CA and Porquerolles. Edit: Mediafire link works fine. I'm on the map currently. Second edit: unrelated to the previous two lines. I have to note the oddity of having the grass beneath your feet be green, and like Altis, but 100 feet away the terrain turns blue. I think this has been noted before, but it seems like this wasn't addressed in the new update.
  6. I downloaded from armaholic and loaded into my Arma 3 folder like all other mods, booted up the game, and there's no map in-game from the editor list.

    Terrain "Pecher"

    Very nice looking. A small suggestion--forests on the outskirts of the city. Would be good for besieging snipers and artillery. Just a thought.

    I'm getting sandstorm affects and color but no wind sounds and no dense fog. Do I need to set the fog myself?

    RHS Escalation (AFRF and USAF)

    I really want to commend you gents for polishing off the shotgun--its model, animations and sound effects. It has real pomp now and doesn't seem as flat. I've been using it a lot during house searches on Diyala and stuff and playing as a bank robber on Altis, and it's just great.
  10. I just tried it with an M4 instead of a shotgun, (RHS) and noticed that all the sprays returned and looked well, so it seems related to the shotty only.
  11. A lot of the exit wound sprays don't seem to be appearing on jbad building walls. I noticed this just now on Diyala, using the autobody building. I'll keep testing with other pack buildings. Edit: tried it with the autobody, grocery store, and (mud?) walls outside small isolated houses on Diyala. Is this a BL bug or a jbad bug? Or a Diyala bug? What is life?
  12. I'm confused. I want to use this on Diyala. I make a mission, then move your sound files pack into its folder in my documents folder. Then I load and the sounds aren't there. What am I doing wrong?

Hi, I'm trying to get a trigger condition that allows my player character to remain undercover per-se, in the sense that unless he uses a weapon or otherwise acts aggressive, bad guys won't shoot at him. I'm making a 007 campaign and it takes place on Altis/Stratis/other maps. Good secret agents should be able to operate right under the enemy's nose without detecting. Is there a trigger condition that can enable the OPFOR to attack my character if I violate it? (the condition). Such as sending a truckload of thugs? This kind of ties into part two: A good villain will eventually identify his target and to be initially discreet, send a plainclothes hitman after him. I need a script/trigger that will assign a civilian a holstered pistol, then send him to to the player and only pulling the weapon out to engage when danger close. (AKA two-three meters.) Somebody please help me, I don't want to lose my spark of creative energy. It's derailed all of my previous campaigns. (is this in the wrong section?)

  17. I'm requesting a mod that causes headgear--helmets, hats, caps, anything that isn't strapped on--to fall to the ground when the wearer is killed or shot in the head. It would do a lot of immersion (in my opinion).

    Noice. While the gibbing is amusing I find it has no place in a 'realistic' game like Arma 3. This will be a valued alternative to Blood Lust. Not that I don't love Blood Lust already.
  19. Is this coming with sailors (Kriegsmarine for example)?
  20. I am requesting a 5x5 or 10x10 flat European forest map. No settlements, no buildings, only the most basic of terrain contours. I want to use this space for massive, fixed-position WWI styled-forest night battles with smoke, gas, flares, and ambient artillery. I've done this before on VT5 but I want a larger playground.
  21. We could use some sad soldier/head bowed animations, for dramatic after-action shots. I wouldn't mind seeing some goose-stepping either, for my Fascists. I also think it would be cool if there was a three-man animation of two guys holding another back from a physical fight. But maybe I'm an asshole for suggesting so many things.
