Think it's meant to be MTP but the hues are off down to it being printed on a glossy nylon. Also how exactly does the cummerbund get attatched on the armour? Every photo I see seems to have a different setup for that front section. The external cummerbund's removable IIRC. You can just velcro the side flaps of the rear panel to the front of the armour but it's not as secure. There's an optional PALS-covered waist panel to cover the velcro on the front of the armour where the two halves of the cummerbund meet when it's fitted. This'll be why the armour looks different in setup. I'm not 100% sure, but I think the cummerbund is attached to the rear part of the armour by hooking onto D-rings around the sides. I've noticed some bods using strapping going from a D-ring on the waist panel to the side panels of the armour to hold the front and back together more securely than just velcroing it. At the front, the waist panel hangs from the PALS loops on the chest of the armour and velcroed on, the cummerbund halves are velcroed on to the front and then fastex clipped together to hold them securely. AFAIK with the Mk.4, the external cummerbund is velcroed on, then a flap (like the waist panel) folds over the top (like CIRAS vests and that) so you get the best of both. Not as standard they haven't, it's a specialist bit of kit in that it's used when the task/terrain dictates. Under most circumstances when it is employed it will be given to the lead scout, but not enough to warrant it becoming a standard loadout for a lead scout. Also agree with Pathy/Chris with the unit names, you could do with re-naming them in the editor to reflect a propper Section ORBAT. Hoofing effort though, love the new Screenshots! Will probably rename the units closer to the proper ORBAT listed in the thread. I have also added the backpack proxy so all my units can carry backpacks in OA. Ontop of that I have added my own Daysack and Comms Rucksack to the system. Unlike the BIS rucksacks mine have the straps (for lack of a better name) that go over the shoulder and under the arm. IIRC did ACE have a problem in A2 when they added the straps on the rucksacks because the proxy could only be defines as one bone from the unit (like spine2 or spine3 etc) so the straps looked out of place when the unit moved about. (Hope that makes sense). ALSO. My backpacks have a major issue at the moment, they do work fine (so putting ammo in etc) but if you drop the rucksacks I have made or place one on the ground in the editor, you can't actually pick it up again. Normally there is a "take backpack" option but it doesn't come up. I guess there is an extra item that needs to be added to the memory LOD but I have no idea what. Im half sure they they have 3 ECM's on a patrol ( green , red , brown ) i think , not sure which is which but im sure someone will be able to help you out more with this . At the moment I have it with 8 slots available, so 8 mags or 4 satchels and so on... I've set it so that it can't take a weapon, could change this if its needed. If you dropped the backpack (in the gear menu) you couldn't pick it up again, it just sat there on the floor. Like I say I have sorted this now so it should be completely dealt with! Being a fully paid member of The Internet Army, I am, fortunately, qualified to provide some sort of answer whilst you wait for someone like Jonny to turn up and provide you a slightly more informed one. Daysacks are typically quite small; mines 35L capacity. To put this into some sort of context, typically you're gonna have warm kit, wet kit, spare batteries for radios, spare ammo, - CWS as well, perhaps, if you're issued it - all shoved into your daysack, plus various other odds and sods such as rations if you're expecting to need 'em. By the time you account for the space taken up by items that simply don't exist or have function ingame, the room you're left with is -not- massive - you're talking a fraction of the overall capacity of the daysack. So the question comes; do you want to simulate empty daysacks ready to be rammed exclusively with ammo? Or do you want to simulate the room left after a daysack has been loaded with a very typified selection of items, most of which don't exist or have purpose ingame? The answer to your Q depends very much on what it is you want to achieve! In either case, I think keeping weapons out of daysacks is the right choice.
