We owe a massive thank you to Rock from RKSL Studios for his help with the model.cfg update for this addon. An OA dependant version is planned with support for night-vision and thermal imaging attachments for the scope. OOPz 10 Posted November 3, 2010 Iv been playing with the BAF addon for the last few days, its got L115A3's.... but frankly, ours is better! ;) only bugs iv found sofar are the sonic crack reported above and the scope zoom isnt working any more. anything being done to it at the UKF end? Alright boss? I managed to fix these two bugs a while ago but I was waiting on modelling a SIMRAD I2 sight and SVIPER STIC (TI sight) before doing a proper OA update. IIRC I added thermal imaging maps as well. Unfortunately almost all of my ArmA modding activities have been halted over the past few months due to current work commitments and I've not had the time to develop it further. I'll see about uploading what I have done for you to have a look at though. Val 10 Posted February 17, 2011 Damn good model, but there is one little problem I`ve noticed: rifle looks too big (at least comparing to vanila L115A3 and some other rifles (watch the screenshots below)). da12thMonkey 1943 Posted May 21, 2011 There isn't a subsonic round for it. Subsonic rounds severely reduce the effective range of a rifle in such a way that it would be counter-intuitive to issue them for a rifle system that the UK procured to shoot beyond 800m. IRL the suppressor is for the L115A3 is issued primarily to hide muzzle flash and reduce the dust kicked up by the muzzle brake; not with any expressed intent for the Army to use it with subsonic rounds. Any reduction in noise signature that comes with screwing it on the muzzle is just a bonus. From what I've read, most subsonic .338 loads are only effective to about 350m, so I don't imagine they'd be that much fun to play with anyway. I haven't finished modeling the SIMRAD NV device for it: I've been too busy to do very much serious addon making for quite a long time. I might finish the SIMRAD one day, but don't hold your breath; I have dozens of other projects that I'd like to finish as well. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
