Recommended.http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0102015/ The novel that the basic narrative and the Kurtz character are drawn from - 'Heart of Darkness' by Joseph Conrad - is also very good. And no, it's not a book about Vietnam - not even about war. But I think the book title describes the movie perfectly fine (and - as it seems - it's creation, too). Apocalypse Now is not an action movie, despite the famous helicopter scene.But back on topic: RIP Dennis Hopper - Easy Rider and fricking cool bad guy! You'll be missed!
