around 450.000.000$, while losing 720.000.000$.

The advertising is necessary to pay the servers so you have

it for free.

Google just tries to make it profitable.

I see no one complaining about advertisment =)

I kinda don't have that issue either. The layout still sucks though.

I noticed they finally removed the debug text from the video details edit page ("#For Youtube.com" text in the top left corner) after 2 days so you can't say they aren't working on it :D

I want to know where Youtube got the idea of having over 90 percent of their layout to be white would be a good thing? For the rest of us using LCDs that has some type of True Bright technology or vivid colors, it's like staring into the freaking sun.

Nope. There have been a lot of people complaining about being unable to post Youtube videos on forums since the update. But now it works, so It's all gravy.

Since the latest changes, youtube really sucks!

I mean basically EVERYONE says, wherever i read about it, the people say it sucks....

Hell all over the place in every second youtube Videos, you can now find comments like "OMG this new layout sucks" and having 100s of people giving "thumbs up" votes on such a very comment.

Why in gods name they wont revert it, if everyone hates it?

Also their TOS and the way you have to proof/claim where you got every single bit of music, or whatnot copyright-crap protected, is really disgusting me.

For me in germany, every second video is impossible to watch because someone played a bit of music in the video, which is coincidentally copyright protected by whatever music-agencies, or better greedy music-conglomerates.

Might help you guys find a few things you're looking for. The whole dislike/like thing makes more sense to me now but I don't see a problem with the old system.

Also, it seems that youtube is now forced in your local language. I want it in fucking English, not Dutch, but this just seems to be impossible unless i use an English proxy.

It made sense to me. Granted I didn't have any questions and I don't really use YouTube for anything other than watching a video every now and again so maybe that is why.
