DONT give them an engine boost. The Huey you released is already way too fast. I can easily get it up to 300+ knts in straight and level flight. The max speed for a UH-1N (newest Marine version in service) is 121 knts.

Might want to check into that....

right ive finished all the armed versions and im just fine tuning now, the only hueys with speed changes are these:

UH-1 Gunship = Slower to take into account weapon payload and more armor

UH-1 Black Ops Fast Attack Version = faster and has much less armour (around half as much as the normal version)

i might make the normal armed versions have less speed so there is a penalty for taking arms

right heres pictures of the new versions, they are only low res as youll be able to take some yourself when they are released (probably tomorrow night with all 3 sets released)

the ones in the screenshots are the black op hueys the other versions are air cavalry and resistance and when i get other textures theyll be there too, oh and the G8 versions of the huey has been released and is on the G8 site (G8)

i didnt want the bullets to explode so im using kegetys minigun for the pod and another version with the gunship with damage set to 49 (one point below the point they explode i think)

ive put all the hueys into a pack (Resistance, Spec Ops, Air Cavalry)

ive left the fast attack version out as it needs tweaking ill release it in a few days

im trying to get it uploaded somewhere but as its 5mb its pretty hard, so im looking around on irc for someone to host it, might take a while, some problems with it

1. Weapons fire from the middle of the huey, i cant fix it, its just one of the problems with editing

2. The hueys will turn into the original at a distance (it would have taken me weeks to change every single distance lod and its not that noticable) this is also the reason im keeping the fast attack version for tweaking as at a distance you can clearly see its changed into the other version, if you want me to add it and not keep it here for tweaking for a few more days tell me and ill shove it in the pack, it will also allow me to start the lynx faster, so its up to you lot

it was the spec ops fast attack with both doors open, ive done a whole set of black hueys that are piloted by black ops which is the third set of textures

i may not have made much sense in the last post, there is a special operations texture (black), and three fast attack versions of the huey (one per texture) the air cavalry verson is black with air cavalry patches, and the resistance one is normal colours

they are being uploaded to http://www.operation-flashpoint.dk/ by the guy who did the resistance textres, wont be long now

oh and my next project, im going to take a break from the blackhawk for a bit and make the AV-8B harrier from kegetys hawk

this is what i did in 5 minutes so i could see if it was possible, im completely restarting i now have pictures/blueprints (i did the one in the shot from memory)
