Glad to see my suspicions were right :)

great to see more variety (more countries) in Arma finally :)

in OFP we had a lot of armies of different countries, carry on and release :)

if you need help in custom (country) weapons give me PM, i have no idea what Netherland use but i can give FN-FNC, Elcan and etc. what would be neccesary for more realism

The primary weapons we use are Diemaco C7 and C8 rifles, which can be outfitted with a 40mm grenade launcher.

The usual optics to go on these weapons are Elcan sights.

For the squad automatic weapon we use the FN Minimi, also with an Elcan sight.

AT would be the Panzerfaust 3 i think, and for AA we use Stingers.

This is from the top of my head though and i could be overlooking things :)

I already pmed vilas an extensive list :)

Re: Dutch Pilot...I can include anything (providing my partner in crime Binkowski can help out). Although for the pilot you may have to live with a reskin of the BIS one. However this will have to be included in a later patch as the new units are already finalized i am just waiting for some misc files from others (thanks Sic-Dis).

The automatic weapons have the larger size Elcan sight most of the time, as for AT there is the MILAN and Panzerfaust 3.

The 40mm grenadelauncher can also be used as a secondary weapon to keep the weight of the Diemaco balanced.

Talking about anti-tank systems, we use the Gill (MRAT), wich replaced the TOW and DRAGON.

The AT-4 and Carl Gustav were replaced by the Panzerfaust-3 (VSRAT) and Panzerfaust-3 Dynarange (SRAT).

Got a source on this?

I'm pretty sure BBE is now called UIM (Unit Interventie Mariniers). Sure, it says BBE on those sites, but that information is probably outdated.

BBE = Old name for what is now UIM

DSI = Special police unit

UIM = SF branch of Korps Mariniers (Dutch Marine Corps) specializing in counter-terrorism (as seen in the video)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unit_Interventie_Mariniers

Both BBE and DSI redirect to that page.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

EDIT: those GeenStijl videos of Rutger visiting the military are great by the way, I've watched them all when they came out :)

Does anyone know which handgun that is at 3:04? SIG P226?

your correct,

http://members.quicknet.nl/wvanbokhorst/plaatjes/eenheden/bbem/2.jpg

only i read abouth the marines went back to their old "famous" name again.

forgot the source of that, its hard to find information on the BBE units in 2010

ill try and look up the source again

EDIT

the most recent information i can find is of 07-12-2009

it says its UIM so lets assume its UIM
