Nephris1 10 Posted January 7, 2010 Another problem i got since changing GL4 is Code: Addon gl4_blood_fx (entry GL4_Blood_04) not found in the list of active addons. I checked my mission.sqm to delete the entry but nthing there. I also tried to copy all stuff to renew the mission sqm, but the entry keeps resisting....any ideas? MARBESSI 10 Posted January 7, 2010 Dowloaded and installed this mod with Six Updater.. but when Arma start I got this error Userconfig\GL4\GL4_coresqf not found . What does it mean? Is there some other mod that may conflict? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I will have a quick look to verify, or if something's broken. If so, sorry :) update Found userconfig, processing... Seems to work fine for me, six-updater version in the console is 0.14.4. kroky 1 Posted January 7, 2010 Thanks.No Sorry so far there is no variable which you could check... Group Link 4 is initializing everything step by step and by checking the given feature settings. I will add a variable which will be set to True after Group Link 4 was initialized completly in the next version. Im very happy about reading this! Looking forward to the next release. If still issues, please make a bug report and i'll get right on it :) Seems that program was searching files under Userconfig\Gl4\*.* while they were under Userconfig\GL4\GL4\*.* Simply copied the files under first subfolder and now everything is fine... kroky 1 Posted January 7, 2010 (edited) @SNKMAN Another question, since I didnt find more info on it in the readme: About the AI Rearm function. How exactly does it work? Im asking this because I want either use this feature from GL4 or VFAI. VFAI works the way that the unit will look for magazines of the weapon it carries. When there is no ammunition, the unit will drop the weapon and pick up a OPFOR weapon. Addtionally AI are scavenging items (weapons, launchers, grenades, satchel charges) but from dead bodies ONLY. Not from crates or vehicles. Additionally with VFAI you can turn off the rearm function for the own group or globally ingame. How does the GL4 rearm script work? What of the features of VFAI is covered by it and what not? EDIT: 2 more questions: - how does the AI extraction work? - how does the AI Idle work? (should use the Human A.I. feature...?) Taliban_Dan 10 Posted January 7, 2010 I have got the mod working now, but have come across another problem. I have found that when I have GL4 & ACE running some ACE features do not work e.g. Bipods, Grenade throwing options and NVG sensitivity. LugNut 10 Posted January 7, 2010 Great mod! I'm still getting the missing GL4_core.sqf error even though I have them in:ArmA 2\userconfig\GL4 folder. Had the same problem with 1.1.18 too. Any ideas? LugNut 10 Posted January 7, 2010 No updater, I did it manually. I deleted the previous version as well first. The lost Radio chatter .hpp was causing it to crash a few seconds after entering a BMP and now it's crashing as I load a scenario. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Yeah I get it too, when the secondary flash of an explosion happens I get a square flame, when smoke comes off a burning wreck I get it and when I throw smoke I get it. Clayman 20 Posted January 7, 2010 Hi SNKMAN! (This thread is growing faster than I can keep up with reading it.^^) Having a little problem again. I have an enemy BMP3 with 5 Soldiers in cargo. As soon as it's been called as reinforcement it drives to my position and the soldiers in the back get out, just like it should be until here. But then the two additional machinegunners disembark, too. Shouldn't they, being part of the crew, stay inside the BMP? And another question. Is there any way I can disable the garrision feature for static units (without disabling the whole feature)? I have a few soldiers guarding a checkpoint. I sync'd them to the GL4 Static module, but everytime they walk away into the next building (or three of them try to fit on one guard tower :D ). Edit: And one more... (running windows 7 with retail arma 2 (not steam)) "C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2" just place the userconfigs folder with the GL4 folder inside there. They will not disembark if they are type of a real crew. I think this is one of the most things ppl do understand wrong. If a soldier is inside a tank for example and at the gunner position the he is not a crew member. A real crew member for example is a soldier of the class "RU_Soldier_Crew". Is there any way I can disable the garrision feature for static units. Yes. Simply add 1 waypoint. ( If you don't like that the group move, then simply create the waypoint directly over the group leader ) What about when the player group has an AI leader? kroky 1 Posted January 8, 2010 Make sure you load the mods in this order: @CBA;@ACE;@ACEX;@ACEX_SM;@ACEX_PLA;@GL4;@othermods ACE and GL4 works great. only problem that ACE features disappear after a savegame load.
