spirit6 51 Posted February 24, 2010 (edited) Is this mission maybe planned for Duala too? It works for all islands mate, even if somebody publishes a new one today. @Teilx As soon as i finished the addon form then i will. Atm its more of a side product for the public because i make it for our community (link below). I seriously lack the time to put much effort into something apart from this community atm. spirit6 51 Posted March 27, 2010 (edited) Here a download link. Requires ACE2 to use. http://www.easy-share.com/1909663068/CO_MCC_F2_V6.zip contains the mission file for most islands. Has now side depending start location so you can even setup pvp missions with it, with just a few clicks. Dynamicly reads your config so the stuff you can spawn depends on the mods that you use. Have fun, if it fails let me know. We use this for our missions, so if ur up for a good game, go to the link under here and sign up :) And if you want to solo use it then have fun! Put in your mpmissions directory. Go multiplayer and press new. Off you go. When the mission has been set you can click Start Mission. It then has respawn off and a spectate script. If you dont press it then people will respawn on the startlocation you clicked. Includes a spectate script from the f2framework. It holds automatic gear stuff and what ever more stuff but i aint gonna fully that that out here. Have fun :P Many thanks to the f2 framework and upsmon! spirit6 51 Posted July 5, 2010 The OA islands have been included to the download: http://github.com/marspirit/AAI/zipball/master As not a lot of mission around (yet) by here you can play any coop you like on the new maps. Put the pbo's into your MPmissions folder.
mugaben 10 Posted July 6, 2010 They depend on ACE. I assume the latest ace version works with OA then? :-)
jpinard 10 Posted July 8, 2010 Nope its been put off specificly. It was and is made for play at 6thsense. We play with no ai and no pvp. I'm confused. If you play with no AI, and you don't have PvP - wouldn't that mean you're just running around an empty map?
spirit6 51 Posted July 8, 2010 I'm confused. If you play with no AI, and you don't have PvP - wouldn't that mean you're just running around an empty map? Its a coop thing mate. You can make missions on the fly with it. check the video a few posts up.
spirit6 51 Posted July 9, 2010 Latest version holds V14 its now working correctly with ACE OA. So this is a requirement to play now. This means: @CBA;@ACE;@ACEX;@ACEX_SM Not fully sure about @ACEX_SM but i am to tired now to get into that. On our dedicated server latest ACE2 for OA and MCC work fine using only the above mods. For those using six updater this means preset OA Combined operations (OA Vanilla). http://github.com/marspirit/AAI/zipball/master Zip file as usual. I go update the front page to a more actual state. Changes are going fast latetely.
Eckhart 10 Posted July 11, 2010 Was messing around with this earlier with ACE2 in OA and was having a ton of fun, thanks for putting this together. Questions though: 1. How does one access the aforementioned save feature? I'd like to be able to restart my missions easily, but hitting restart from the esc menu causes all of the zones and spawned things to be removed. 2. What's the point of the Start Mission button in the menu? Nothing seems to change with it pushed. Thanks.

Keep in mind to always download the latest build by the links above (we keep on pushing new versions there). 1 The save feature (not working anymore since OA) saved to the clipboard. With the load feature you could then "load" your mission again and it would rebuild all zones and spawns. We dont use this much however as we "on the fly" make missions with people simple waiting. Takes about 5 mins if you know what to do. 2 Start mission works. When you have selected a start location you will notice a red and a green marker on the new start location. The green one will always stay (even the jip's will start there) but the red one will disappear when you start mission. The result is simple: without a start the respawn (at start location) is on and after mission start the spectate script will kick in when you die. Have fun! Are there any plans to restore the save feature to functional with OA? It'd make my enjoyment of your missions quite a bit easier, since I'd like to, for instance, create a small solo mission and, upon failure, easily restart it. spirit6 51 Posted July 19, 2010 @TeilX What can i say mate when you have it in the quote already: Its a requirement to use ACE with MCC.
spirit6 51 Posted August 16, 2010 This MCC thread will be closed somewhere next week. The information and the name are completely outdated to what its about and a new thread will be created. MCC has been completely redone making on the fly mission making easier then ever. Including fully working load and save option to replay a created mission fast or play it at a later time again. The biggest change will be a full working gui. A wip image can be seen here (by far not the final version). MCC is now a joined effort of Shay_Gman and me. Knight Rider 10 Posted August 18, 2010 Looks great, looking forward to it. (safe and load... I'm guessing it is sa"v"e and load, a typo right?) Saving is an option I'm really looking forward to. Thanks
spirit6 51 Posted August 30, 2010 (edited) Thanks guys. Most recent work is from Shay Gman atm but i thought i share you some pics as we are a bit behind schedule, mainly real life related work. MCC will come with a clear manual ones published. For now we share you some WIP images. Menu 1: Image > 100 kb removed Menu 2: Image > 100 kb removed Menu 3: This one is focused on controlling the mission, making markers, briefings and tasks. You can now do all this from the MCC. Ofcourse you shouldn't do it on the fly, but if you are working on a mission in your free time there is no need to use 2d editor. Every thing including the tasks and briefing is safed (don't forget to save it into txt file when you are done). Every thing is MP proof and you doin't have to upload nothing to the server. Just make a mission localy. Safe it. log in the server and load it. It's still a WIP menu so it will look better when finished. Be advised that permissions for scripts and addons that were adopted into MCC for personal use still have to be granted in order to public launch it. shay_gman 272 Posted August 30, 2010 Looks great, looking forward to it.(safe and load... I'm guessing it is sa"v"e and load, a typo right?) Saving is an option I'm really looking forward to. Thanks Actually it isn't a typo (although it might started as one). The idea is that once you press safe all the mission information u need to load is saved into the clipboard (Ctrl +c) it's actually isn't saved, just kept safe for now. So in order to save it just minimized to desktop, open a TXT file and paste (Ctrl +V) it there. Once you want to load the mission just open the TXT file you saved, select all (Ctrl+a) and copy it back to clipboard (Ctrl +c). Then get back into the game and press load. It's simple, and all you need in your community's dedicated server is an MCC runing on it. Every one can upload a mission without getting the server down, uploading files and whatever. BTW Safe & Load was always there. It's just disabled throw process because the new options wheren't included. Now the do, every thing you placed will be safe (exclude timed elements such as: Artillery call, Evac choper, convoy WP).

Knight Rider 10 Posted September 28, 2010 It's been a month already (well almost), any more news? I'm just really looking forward to this one. Safe/save and mission briefing etc. for the win! We can we test it :p

We can we test it :p Yes indeed time is passing by and so is the work in both game and real life. But its slowly going. YOu can download our releases at all times at: http://github.com/marspirit/AAI/zipball/master Just unzip it and get the pbo files to your mpmission folder (can take a while before links responds as it on the fly creates a zip file). Keep in mind to use the addons needed as mentioned somewhere above.
