From Jacksonhole Wyoming into snowboarding and other extreme sports. Very Joking and quick witted. But with a casual tone. Not easily excited by action but not monotone. Gives Red hell but more as a term of endearment fashion. They often go on about each others love interests and something about hooking Red up with a total slut and telling him she was Girl Friend Material. Story develops in the mission. ---------- Post added at 08:12 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:12 PM ---------- Jules: Age 34 Team Medic. From Las Vegas Nevada. pandur 10 Posted February 25, 2011 I've been following this tread for quite some time and considering all these enthusiastic answers may I suggest to found a "collection of sound samples"? I'd be great if one of the arma fanpages could organise that... I mean there are probably lots of radio samples already out there which people would like to use. Radio messages like "Tango is down" or "landing zone is hot" etc. do definitely exist. Let's collect them somewhere. That would be great for everybody. It's cool that lots of people offer their help in different languages but pm.ing only helps a few and is cumbersome. Does anyone agree?

dr_zakharotta 10 Posted April 7, 2011 (edited) Hey guys, I need Russian speaking males with a dialogue for a mission I'm doing a movie about. I also need a female American to act as Intelligence relay and real time observation and warning like: - Clark, you're two miles southwest of Utes, proceed quietly. Your contact is awaiting you by the shorelines to where you're headed. and (tone: instructional) - Clark, you know what to do. Get in as a civilian, pop the douchebags and get out before they even know it. (tone: instructional) and - Clark, the whole base is on alert... Clark, do you read?, GET OUT NOW!!! (tone: shocked and worried) and - Clark, you're one lucky son of a bitch!! Next time, keep the earpiece on. (tone: sarcastic) I need the dialogue to go as follows: - Citizen: Good evening, I need to speak with officers Chevchenko and Tretiak. - Soldier at gate: Wait here. a few seconds later soldier returns, -Soldier: you khave five minutes. - Citizen: Spasibo Now the dialogue with both characters needs to be a regular talk turned into a betrayal shooting and both are unaware. For example: Citizen: Good evening gentlemen, I .... C and T: get on with it!! I need to watch this movie!! (both staring at computer and TV) - citizen: very well, pfft, pfft... ( citizen shoots a muffled weapon, and leaves after 3 minutes, and the whole base becomes alerted.) Can you guys do that in Russian? KEVINMGXP 20 Posted April 26, 2011 (edited) I'm looking for several voice actors for a campain that i'm working on, its eurly stage at this point but i need the voices so they can be implemented directly in the mission build up. The secondary language is pointed out to the ascent like English/Hispanic -> acsent. Headquarters: (English/Us) HQ CO running the operation. (English/Us) HQ Radio operator that will addres a destress call. Main Insertion team: (English/Us) for the team leader (English/hispanic) for one of the team members (English/Us) for one of the other team members Sniper team: (English/Russian) for the Sniper Pilots and crew: (English/Us) Female voice for the main Pilot (English/Us) For the pilot of the escort shopper Mail me if you are interested, i need high quality voice acting and it may take some more time to get it don right. If some one does know how to use voice actors voices twice or more then once by tweaking their voices peaks a little so it sounds different, please mail me how i can make it possible. I might try to do some voice acting by my self, the campain will need more actors but some actors will only show up once. This voice acting is only to put more dialog towards the game but i also don't want to make it to heavy. kind regards. 2nd ranger 282 Posted May 9, 2011 I need a South African, or at least someone who can do a passable SA accent, for a few lines of dialogue. Preferably someone who has a decent sound setup - I already have some voices in the mission that are of good quality, so I want the rest to be similar. I've heard alot of voices in missions that seem to have been recorded over TS or something and it doesn't sound good unless it is radio dialogue, which mine isn't. Please PM me if able to help! Fumbles88 10 Posted June 3, 2011 Wondering if anyone can help me with the following lines - Need someone with an American accent for these lines. For context it's for a mission with British units performing a medevac for a US army patrol who have been hit by an IED and are being ambushed from a nearby settlement by overwhelming numbers. ------Basic ambient voices----- 1 - "Contact!" (soldier holding the line) 2 - "My ----ing leg, oh my god!" (Soldier caught in IED blast with leg injury) ------Character specific voices----- Need a few different voices for this one, firstly Sgt Barnes (Regional British accent) to do the following lines - "Right lads, the second we hit the ground secure the LZ and flanks." (Briefing in chopper on way to medevac) "We have two confirmed casualties. While out on patrol the yanks got ambushed with an IED and the guys still able to fight are taking fire from the nearby compound. We need to help them hold the line until the medics get the casualties stable enough to be lifted into the chopper" (same as above) "Right lads, we're pulling back to the chopper once those bombs drop." (Whilst in firefight) For this next bit I would need preferably three different people (With American accents) unless someone can convincingly do three very different voices/accents etc. SSgt Graves - "Ok, they're ready to move. Everyone get ready to fall back!" SSgt Graves - "Harmon, get us some fast movers to cover the retreat!" Pvt Harmon - "Yes Sergeant!" Pvt Harmon - "Kestrel this is Scorpion, do you read?" Pvt Harmon - "Kestrel, we are pulling back, we need fast movers at grid 088052, danger close!" Pvt Harmon - "Roger Kestrel, Scorpion out." Kestrel "Roger Scorpion, how copy?" Kestrel "Solid copy Scorpion, diverting fast movers to your location. ETA 2 minutes, keep your heads down." If anyone is interested in filling one or all of these roles let me know :) Cheers guys! dannese 10 Posted June 13, 2011 where should i export the sound when i am ready
Laqueesha 474 Posted June 15, 2011 (edited) where should i export the sound when i am ready The best way is to put the individual voice over files in a compressed .ZIP or .RAR file or something similar. After the files are packed, try emailing the person you're doing the voice over work for and attach the compressed .ZIP or .RAR file as an attachment. Please note that the voice over files have to be in .OGG file format and in mono. Edited June 15, 2011 by Laqueesha

Funkman 10 Posted June 26, 2011 @Fumbles88, do you still need some voice parts? I can do a reasonable American accent even though I am Aussie.... ----------- I too am looking for some voice parts for a mission I am making. If you can help PM me and I will send the full script so you can see the context... ------ Lines needed: Commander: Commander: “Ok boys, I want a clean recon. Stay out of sight, use your optics and give me an accurate count of enemy armour. We want to be prepared when we hit them in a few days time†Commander: “Alright men, I want a clean, efficient operation. Find and identify those Tunguskas before the enemy has a chance to respond. If you work efficiently and give the go code Alpha quickly, the air support and armour will be there to back you up before the enemy can respond effectively. Good luck.†Red Hawk 1 (AH-64D): Red Hawk 1: “This is RedHawk1, taking fire, I am going down" Eagle Eye (AH-64D): Eagle Eye: “Yes sir!†Eagle Eye: “HQ this is EagleEye, we are in position. I count one group of BMP-2s. I also see three T90s and a small unit of infantry…†Eagle Eye: “..and I also see four T-72s…Whats this? O SHIT, mudspike at 12 o’clock, that’s a Tunguska, move MOVE!.†Eagle Eye: “Shit they’ve launched on us, taking evasive action…†Pilot: Pilot: “Yes sir!†
allamawitharifle 10 Posted July 3, 2011 Looking for a few actors to fill a few relatively small parts. It's for a single player mission using BAF so British accents are preferable. The roles are as followed Headquarter role, probably has the most lines in the whole mission so a British accent would be best. Not counted up the lines yet but I would guess about 30ish Squad leader, second most lines in the whole mission also best for a British accent. Rough estimate probably about 20 lines Random guy - only has a single line so I'm not too fussy about the accent Pilot - once again only has one line so I can get away with pretty much any accent Insurgent leader - Also only has a single line, as an insurgent I'm looking for a foreign accent, possibly Russian or something similar but once again I'm not too fussed. If you're interested please PM me stating which role you would like/think you'd be good at and I'll send you the lines. Cheers
