Unpack and put the pbo to your arma 2 missions folder This is my first ever created mission for Arma 2 so don't kill me if you don't like it or it feels like it's made by a total amateur. It is. :) It's simple assault mission with artillery available if you like. Also small tank platoon and 2 other infantry squads will be joining the assault. If it feels too easy, it's because i wanted it to be authentic. You know when US assaults it's always massive force that does the job. 100-1 ;) Feel free to comment. You didn't had the radio in map screen to call artillery guys ? those two M1A1's had pretty much wiped out all enemies by the time I reached the town! Try the 0.3 version. It's gives more challenge and there's one nasty "thing" that can wipe all tanks before they even reach town gates. It happened to me. ;) It just seems this mission plays differently every time so it's really hard to adjust things. Guess this is the best part of BIS engine. But i'll try something... I'll be improving the mission whenever i have time. I'm just learning the capabilities of Arma 2 editor. But I remember i see the overview so it seems to be 1.1 The "all enemey died before i reach the town"-thing was happend to me the first time i played. But i thought maybe its why i played with 1.03 beta so i tryied again without beta-patch. Next time it was more chalenging but i´m not shure if it is the beta-patch or not. It seems (like you wrote) everytime the mission starts its a little bit diffrent kind of way it goes. Its a nice little mission and for the first mission from you its a good beginning. Maybe you can improve some of the following facts: - tasks; i see the map before the mission starts, but i see no tasks, if i start the mission after a second or two the task and diary is shown. Please make the briefing is shown before the mission starts - all in all a briefing should give more informations about the situation, reinforcements, possible count of enemy etc. - you should start the attack of the ofter squads by a trigger (or radio command), if the player is near the town - more atmosphere by adding environment sounds, music (at the right moment), a fly by aircraft and so on... - intro and outro cutscenes regards S.D. Thanks for the feedback. Now in ver. 1.1 there is briefing at the start giving some info about the situation and using artillery. Yes this really is my first mission and i have to say i really haven't had the time to study much of the editor. But i'm definetly going to. I have played BIS games since 2001, but i never did anything with the editor except play around with units. Now i thought that why not try something myself. First in my list that i'm going to learn would be adding proper tasks and better triggers to mission and so on. I'll update the mission after i have learned more. I couldn't seem to find who was shooting at me, and the rounds were almost spent so they just kicked up dust and made small whining noises as they hit the ground at our feet. I check new missions at armaholic almost daily basis and have done that since german Arma2 got released. Also as far as i know Armaholic don't delete old missions ever from the website. Only thing in this mission has that isn't mine is how the artillery works and song in the start. Someone from OFPEC uploaded a arty test mission that people could use it freely in their own missions. I just don't get why someone would want to claim someone elses mission as their own. Exspecially if the mission is nothing spectacular like mine missions. All my missions are pretty simple compared to many other. So i'm guessing you have some kind of mental problems because i can't think of any other reasonable cause.
