My rig is in my sig... Maybe the CPU is not the weakest thing in there, but for sure it's too slow for recording vids...

It's probably your HDD, i have the same problem.

Are your HDDs SATA? Also I find it weird how your processor is pretty low brand wise (6420), but it has good speed... did you overclock it? And what are the rest of it's specs? I suggest you just go to the system requirements thread, those guys are really helpful over there.

All of my HDDs are SATA - ArmA installed on the fastest one (Seagate) and CPU is OCed from 2.13...

2.13 is pretty bad. That might be your issue - even if you OC it, the actual speed doesn't go up as much. You're able to do more things, but.

Have you ran ArmA 2 when it was 2.13? If so, what's the FPS comparison? You should run Benchmark 1 and compare them.

If I'm not mistaken, isn't that audio at the end from the footage of the bombing of Hiroshima, where they asked them to turn around a check for detonation? That's what's making me think it was a nuke.

Saw the video. Would be good if he actually made a nuke, I have a really good mod for it.

But then again it worked pretty good with the black screen.

I got my own new video coming up in a few hours, it's the best one I've ever made I think? Im having a hard time judging because I've worked on it so much I just know every bit and shot and all of that so it's hard for me to say if it's good or not.

Either way it's a product of my imagination, nearly half of the shots in the video I originally imagined the first time I listened to the song, and now recreated in video form. This is what I love about making movies!

Coming in a couple of hours.

Thanks, but I'm not heading too far. I never said this is my last ArmA 2 video, you know, this is just my last for possibly a very long time.

I am in fact moving onto learning to make heavily scripted machinima with CryEngine 2. The reason to this isn't to permanently switch but I will be making a big project over the summer with it, so I have to start learning now, etc.

But I promise you I will come back and make more ArmA 2 videos in time.

The clouds is the NIM Weather Mod. The smoke is JTD Fire and Smoke. Both can be found on armaholic. :)
