Javolenus 10 Posted April 28, 2010 (edited) I just played a home-made scenario with USMC versus insurgents. I got into a firefight with a headless insurgent who stood up and pumped fire at me. He eventually went down but it kinda spoiled the realism of the scenario. I've been playing the game solidly for a few weeks and never spotted this problem before. I should mention that I saw all this through the scope view of my rifle. In an earlier game with the same scenario I noticed that uniform textures of units kept changing. This seemed to affect enemy units running around in the distance. Again, I noticed this when using the scope view of my rifle. Sorry I don't have screenshots. I'm running a whole load of mods, including ACE2. Don't know if that is significant? Anyway, just thought I'd mention this and am trying to be helpful. Sintacks 10 Posted May 22, 2010 Does anyone have issues when you order one of your squad mates to drive a vehicle? They run into stuff, run over people and take forever to turn around etc.
Joona 10 Posted May 23, 2010 I think is not a serious bug, but its a bug. Problem is I can have hundreds of 'player' animals. This thou dosent happen with normal units and you cant play with hundred animals. It just shows in the editor. This is what you do to make it happen: When you put an ambient animal, place it as player and then copy & paste it. Patch 1.05.

Zacka 10 Posted July 1, 2010 If you play the guerilla faction in Warfare mode, the only buyable vehicle from the air field is the UH-1H for a price of 2$, which isn't even buyable in the first place because nothing happens when you try to buy it, whether you buy it empty or with a crew. The_Nephilim 10 Posted July 1, 2010 (edited) Hi, I get a CTD If I OC too high.. I can get a Prime 95 Stable machine when OC @ 4.5ghz but ArmA 2 will CTD every time after a minute or two?? I had even set the OC down to 4.1ghz and still it will CTD.. I dont think it is a Heat Issue as the temps of the cpu are cool enough.. I have a Asus Striker II Formula with an Intel E8400 CPU.. I can reproduce this CTD every time but Now while I am OC to 4.0GHZ it seems to work NP's?? I was just wondering if it is ArmA and NOT liking the Higher Clock settings?? Here is my CTD Log file thing: http://www.filefront.com/16945203/ArmA%202.rar Edited July 3, 2010 by The_Nephilim
Beagle 684 Posted July 2, 2010 All rocks in Takistan map are quirked. You cant step on them, if you do youre stuck and beginn to "jump" and slide around. Walking and positioning yourself on rocks workes in Chernarus, so it should be possible and be fixed. Since the countless rocks are a tactical property in Takistan desert as one and only cover available this must be fixed.
=kct=blackmamba 44 Posted July 2, 2010 wouldnt it be stupid to stand ontop of the only provided cover, its the same as standing on top of a hill. imagine how easy your silhouet is spotted.. u might aswell wave to the opfor and say catch me.. here i am. TinManNFO 10 Posted July 5, 2010 I tried searching for this, and it doesn't seem to have been mentioned so far... The position of the gunner's optics on the M1 Abrams (variants) appears to be incorrect. The viewpoint displayed is towards the port side of the turret at approximately where the Commander's Independent Thermal Viewer (CITV) is located, while the Gunner's Primary Sight is in fact located in the large box that is directly in front of the Commander's hatch. In other words, right now when you are in the gunner's seat you see the barrel coming out of the lower right of the screen; to be realistic, it should be coming out of the lower left of the screen. While I'm not familiar with the file structure associated with a particular vehicle in the game (at least not yet), I can't imagine this would take any more effort than adjusting an X-coordinate in some parameter in the vehicle's config file. LeadCommando65 10 Posted July 5, 2010 Iron sights of the M16 WITH M203 still doesn't match the actual point where the shot does impact. It's above the targeted point (with iron sights). This a bug since Arma2 1.0 ..... how sad
Kiezer 10 Posted July 5, 2010 I have found a bug that can be recreated easlily. Go the gunner Of a flying UAV (MQ-9) set it up to work with the Unmanned Little Bird with the ULB module as you would if you were to set it up with a gunship. it works when you enter the ULB and you can fire the Hellfires from the UAV but when switching back, the UAV goes into an un-recoverable Nose dive due to the UAV "stopping" Mid air when entering the ULB. Chill xl 10 Posted July 6, 2010 The hitbox model of the big rocks found in Takistan is not very accurate. AI can see and hit player while the player is behind the rock. Problem becomes more apparent when the rock gets bigger since the offset/inaccuracy is scaled aswell... ---------- Post added at 11:02 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:59 AM ---------- When M14 + Aimpoint is fired impact of round is to the left of where was aimed. Problem becomes apparent when targets are further away, 250m+
Lzryde 10 Posted July 6, 2010 Not sure if this is by design or a bug, but the ammo type does not display the correct amount in the top right hand corner. For example, if I take a MAAWS with 2 HEAT and 3 HEDP ammo, reload HEAT rounds, in the top right corner it will say "HEAT 5" (it should say "HEAT 2" right?). Shouldn't this only display the total amount of HEAT rounds and not the total amount of rounds altogether?
arthur666 10 Posted July 8, 2010 No rocket crosshairs in helos. OA+Arma2 installed. M-14 shoots to the left and M16a2/M203 shoots high.
madmedic 0 Posted July 9, 2010 The charging handle on an FN FAL is not supposed to reciprocate back and forth with the bolt, when you fire a round. The recticle on the EOTEC is WAY to small. All of the AK family of weapons are improperly placed in the units hands. The models need to be lowered slightly, and moved backward just a touch. (ALL of the BIS weapons had this problem in ARMA2). Most of the weapon sounds are not even close to the real life sound. Particularly the sound of silenced rifles. A silenced weapon does not go "PHEW", like in the movies. I was us at specialist, I believe i was using an mk16. and i was standing in one of the small pond or puddles with the really blue water. and the water came up to my belt and nothing happened when i tried to fire. I stepped back so the water was just under my waist and then i could fire again. Just a little deeeper and coulldn't fire again.
Brebinator 10 Posted July 18, 2010 Hi there, Just reinstalled and ahve a clean version of Arma OA that I just patched to 1.52. I think there may be a bug on the task menu in the Training Scenario whereby in Section #2 "Tasks" it asks you to double click on a task to re center the map. I have rechecked my controls and everything and nothing seems to allow me to double click on the tasks (thus stopping the progress on this objective). thx,

T.S.C.Plage 0 Posted July 19, 2010 Something is wrong with the USMC Avenger HMMWV but see yourself. I'm sure this wasn't the case as I last played vanilla ArmA 2 so I think it must have been patched in with 1.7.
