I'm curious, does the Petergames Installer have a Multi-Language choice? Could I choose to install it in English?

From what I've read, no, you will have to download a modification (which is frowned upon here) that changes the text. I think later patches will add in different language options but don't hold me to that.

How long do you have to wait for the CD-KEY from Metaboli? And when will I learn impulse purchases are not good :(

I paid via paypal and the confirmation text told me to wait for 8 hours max for the key, according to my understanding of the Google translation. It's been 8 hours and still no key. Maybe I misinterpreted it? Well, e-mail query sent anyway.

I've downloaded the game, extracted it and am still waiting for the CD-KEY. I've sent two emails to two different addresses and the only response I've gotten is an automated 'hello' from the .de address.

but the downloads speeds werent to bad for the first few hours but it went from 1 meg /sec down to like 155k/sec..

right now its up around 1 meg/sec again... im at 48% complete :cool:

Make sure to download the first patch for the German release from http://www.armedassault.info. Tell us how the game is after you play it, ASAP! :D

Hmm... That's strange, it should work. If that is the case, there should be a seperate patch for the download version.

i finished the patch download but still waiting for the game download to finish.. so i will install the game, then patch it immediately and hope that fixes it before running it..

Followed the instructions etc. My Visa was charged within 4 minutes, but as of now, 3 hours later, I have not received a email, or anything for that matter, aside from the charge on my Visa, that gives me any information at all. No download links, no CD-Key, nothing. Spam filter on my gmail was empty also.

Did I screw something up? (hoping not)

I purchased mine from Metaboli, got the standard wait 8 hours for an Email with my key, I have downloaded all files and 4 hours into the wait and nothing, I paid with paypal and have checked the money did go out of my paypal account, I have also emailed the support contact, I will update with what happens.

At least while I wait I can see on youtube the countless people that didnt have to wait for a code, I also tried my original ARMA Key out of stupidity and needless to say it didnt work.

When I tried to buy Arma 1 gold on sprocket-idea I didn't get a cd-key because they didn't work on the weekend, so they mailed me the key on the mondey after.. But then I had already bought another copy. Maybe thats why some of you don't get your cd-key?

That could be a valid point of them not working the weekend, chances are if a keygen gets released before Monday ARMA2 will have the same protection making the gunshot aim totally off.

Yeah because giving out keys is manual work, no, it's an automated process.

Which is odd because I got my key from metaboli INSTANTLY as soon as payment was confirmed (paypal).

It was on the download screen, I guess everyone else here closed that window and forgot to read.

I purchased mine from that website yesterday. As soon as I sent the order, I was redirected to a confirmation page with the option to download. On that page was my ARMA2 serial at the bottom (They didn't make it obvious in the text).

Time of Purchase 7:00 PST --> 4:00 AM Central European Summer Time (CEST) +0200 UTC [Germany]

This section of text was basically "INSTALLATION" instructions in multiple languages. I have attached 2 screenshots of the page. (Tophalf + Bottom Half)

Its apparent that people are NOW being redirected to the metaboli site from the Petergames.de, which is rather strange.
