I just received the same crash error after applying the final patch, happened as being dropped off by the helicopter on Manhatten, near the main enemy base.Rrunning windows 7 64 bit, Intel Quad Extreme, Nvidia 9800 GX2, with 185.85 driver, 8gb Ram, I did try to upgrade to beta 186 incase got the same error and actually worse framerate with the beta driver.

I just deleted the continue.arma2save from my arma2 profile and then it loaded my last save no problem.

Same problem but I didnt let the cache stay where it was, now if I try to resume missing or load my save it CTD's back. Windows 7 64 bit

I managed to fix the issue. MulleDK19, I did buy the digital download $55 and it not working was somewhat annoying. Still the workaround, After the initial install from the digital download I got a message ARMA2 is already installed would you like to install again? Select yes as it wasnt installed before and then the installation completes as expected when you try to run the game you get a msg please insert DVD. To fix this if you go back to the temp installation directory and run the ARMA2.exe from there it will come up with a securerom registration screen, put in your Keycode and it will register online, it will also run the game from that temp directory with some pretty bad errors, simply kill arma2 from task manager and now run the game as normal and everything will work as normal. Due to non stop crashing in the game I did rebuild my pc and from a fresh build the install didnt cause any of the above issues.

Has anyone managed to find a work around, I have done a full uninstall, removed daemon tools rebooted reinstalled and also applied the patch and still get the no disc inserted error message :-(

I also saw that if you have daemon tools or alcohol installed that you should uninstall any virtual drives before installing this from the digital download, and also make sure you put the key code in uppercase.

I got my key just now from Metaboli, I installed the game all ok, and when I try to run it errors saying it cant find the CD DVD in the drive, being a digital download I dont have the DVD. Did I miss a step in the installation?

That could be a valid point of them not working the weekend, chances are if a keygen gets released before Monday ARMA2 will have the same protection making the gunshot aim totally off.

I purchased mine from Metaboli, got the standard wait 8 hours for an Email with my key, I have downloaded all files and 4 hours into the wait and nothing, I paid with paypal and have checked the money did go out of my paypal account, I have also emailed the support contact, I will update with what happens. At least while I wait I can see on youtube the countless people that didnt have to wait for a code, I also tried my original ARMA Key out of stupidity and needless to say it didnt work.
