Inkompetent 0 Posted December 2, 2008 Speaking of flight models again... Seeing from the BIS in-game trailer the flight model was so arcade it hurt my eyes. I really, really, really hope it isn't representing the end product.

Inkompetent 0 Posted December 3, 2008 It was way, way, way too responsive. Not much showing in the Ka-52 flight, but watch the UH-1 when flying and they dodge an obstacle. At the least sign of tilting the helicopter it also started flying with good responsiveness in that direction at once, with no sign of having any kind of momentum in its previous direction of movement at all. icebreakr 3159 Posted December 3, 2008 No momentum has somehow become a BIS trademark, especially noticable in infantry movement... but I guess A2 will improve in upcoming months :P

I thought you were talking about the ka-52 and I couldn't figure out what you meant. I think that that helicopter was AI controlled or controlled by the keyboard. The videos of the hind flying around didn't seem that twitchy, even on 2x time compression.
dentist guba 0 Posted December 5, 2008 the problem with having the KA52 perfectly realistic is that the amount of work and power required increases by, say, 4 times for every 100% increase in quality as percieved by the player.
wipman 1 Posted March 7, 2009 Hi, about the KA-52... i wish that they had a camo scheme, i doubt that in the case of send 'em into the field, they'll do it painted in black; so a camo like this will be pimp: KA-52 Alligator. Let's C ya
